I would definitely recommend to any gardener tired of weeding the conventional way. It’s pretty light weight and easy to use. It makes weeding get done much faster and is easier on your body. The machine works great and the battery last a long time if you are taking care of small weeds. If your are using it for larger weeds with deep roots the battery seems to not last as long.

Works better than expected. Used it to till an existing raised garden bed (10x10). Took about 7 minutes. Went down 6-8 inches. Any small rocks that were in the way just got pushed to the side. Still had 3 out of 4 bars of battery left. Tines were sharp and didn't get bogged down. The reason I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars is related to the assembly. There were 2 screw down locking handles (one on the bottom rod and one on the top rod). There should only be one on the top. Needed to unscrew and remove the one on the bottom in order to connect both portions of tiller and screw down top one to lock in place. Not a big deal once I realized there was an extra one and watched a video that showed the same issue. And the washer that collapses when tightening the handle was a separate piece and not attached to the handle as seen in the Amazon videos. Aside from that confusion, everything works well. Battery charges easily. Light on the plug shows red (needs charging) or green (fully charged). Also, little button on battery that lets you see who much charge is left. Just press once and it shows battery life that's left. Light goes off automatically. Nice touch. Overall, decent product for our needs and easy to use. Just used this rototiller on an area that needed grass reseeding. It’s a light piece of equipment, does a good job of tilling the ground and it only took about 15 minutes to complete the job. It comes with two matters that have indicators on the battery that lets you know how much of a charge that battery has.

Good quality and light wight. Easy to assemble. It is not able to dig very deep in my soil condition at least. It is battery operated hand held small equipment, very easy to handle. Perfect for my money and effective for me.

I have a garden, 15 x 40 and I needed something small but durable to be able to use for tilling. I found this item and decided to take a chance.Man, I am very happy I did. This hand held tiller gives a lot for its size. I'm able to precisely till certain aspects of my garden. It's a workhorse and I've been using it often.The batteries typically will last 30 minutes on a single run.I would caution you to look at the batteries and compare them to larger 20V back up batteries. These batteries are charged via a cord and not a charger. Look at the top sides and compare them to batteries you're considering as back ups.I have no complaints. I would highly encourage you to consider purchasing this if you're someone who likes to garden.

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a big fan of electric yard equipment, and I really didn't expect much from this unit...but I was very much surprised!!! For it's size and battery power, this thing is a beast!! it cut through my flower beds, which have been untouched for three years, and turned the soil over without slowing down at all. although I didn't time it, one battery lasted through two 50 foot by 2 foot stretches with power to spare and into a third section. Money well spent, since the space was too narrow to use my gas powered rototiller. Highly recommended. only two minor negatives to report.... 1) it pulled up a rock which wedged in between the tines and the dirt shield, and since there is no way to reverse the direction or freewheel the tines< I had to pound out the rock with a hammer and metal punch,,,,but only once in two 50 foot stretches. the other minus is that the the auxiliary handle on the shaft is hard to secure in place because the shaft is very smooth and it is almost impossible to tighten the clamp tight enough to keep it from moving around. Simple fix though is to find your "sweet spot" and wrap some type of "duct tape' or other material around the shaft to help the handle "get a grip"...easy peasy!!! Great little flower bed tiller, well worth the money!!

I ordered this as a gift, and it wasn’t opened until one day after the return window had closed. Unfortunately, we discovered that the battery charger was missing. I contacted Amazon, and they directed me to message the seller. I’m so happy to report that the seller went above and beyond—they sent out a replacement battery charger free of charge!As for the tiller itself—it works like a dream! It’s incredibly easy to use and makes quick work of weeding between plants. Highly recommend!
