Wow , so cool , you can use it horizontal or vertical . Looks very nice , buttons and back light fully adjustable . Simple install . I wish they made an outlet cover for it. I cute a hole in a gang cover to get this look. Great idea, will add to other rooms too

The wall switch add a modern -smart home vibe. It can be set up as one gang to three gangs and the icons are customizable. It also has a nightlight edge that lights up that you could turn on or off or switch to multiple colors.

LOVE this little switch, you can customize the writing/labels, it has a niche "surround" light (not visible on my photo), and integration into Apple HomeKit was painless, which is NOT normal for HomeKit compatible devices.So, overall I love the device, will likely purchase even more.However, here are some odds:1) The screen is clearly "one generation behind" in regard to resolution. An updated version be nice!2) This device will NOT integrate into a 2- or 3-gang US outlet box. See photo. The bezel of the unit is much wider. I had a 3-gang box in the top and had to convert it into 1gang left and 1 gang right and drywall over the middle part. If you have only one 1Gang switch, you're lucky. If you have 2-3-gang, you end up drywalling.3) I could not find a way to change the color of the "surround" light that emits on it's edges. the onscreen option are many (too many!?) and I simply could not figure it out. It glows, it changes colors, both don't bother us but that's also something that they could improve on.Overall, great little device!!!

The media could not be loaded. First off, this product is really cool! I love that it works in Homekit. I installed it in a single gang box to control the light in my daughter's room. I assigned automations to run when the other two buttons are tapped.There was a problem adding it to Homekit. If you tap 'add accessory,' in the Homekit app and scan the code, it WILL NOT WORK. To make it work, you have to tap 'add accessory,' 'More options' and look for the device. This lets you add the device as a bridge, instead of as a light switch.So why only two stars? Well, I had a quick question for support so I sent a message to the Whatsapp number (in China) that they provided. Got an answer a few days later. Fine. Then, after about a month, I started receiving bitcoin scam messages to my Whatsapp number. Someone with Lanbon support passed my info along to scammers. How do I know it was them? Well, Whatsapp has been just sitting on my phone for 7 years not sending or receiving any messages...no one even has the number. But I contacted Lanbon once and all of a sudden I'm getting spam? After getting no messages for 7 years? Coincidence?I don't trust this company and I certainly wouldn't give them any personal information for support or product registration. I also recommend configuring your router to not let this device have access to the internet just to be safe. Be careful smarthome friends!

Let me just say these Lanbon L8 wall switches are amazing. I will definitely buy more. I bought this switch and installed. I was extremely pleased with it except it only displayed 24 hour time. Not a big deal for some but bothered me. I wanted the 12 hour Am/ Pm time displayed. I reached out to Lanbon and they literally had a firmware update within 24 hours. I updated the firmware as instructed with perfect instructions and now I’m more than happy!! Lanbon’s customer support is outstanding. That goes along way. I’d definitely recommend these wall switches. I will definitely be replacing all my switches with these. Hopefully they last a long time and if not, I’m sure they’ll make it right!!

Not bad

The installation is easy. It works well enough. My only problem is that it only works with I phones. I wasn't aware of this when I ordered this making it not smart for Android users.
