This book stand is amazing. How did I live without it 🤣 Thank you to all who answered my questions enabling me to take a chance with this. I am glad that I purchased it thus far, since it has only been a few days of use. So I cannot speak to durability. But, to start, the packaging itself impressed me. The product was boxed and protected efficiently, instructions were somewhat clear, though the pictures could be improved for clarity. However, the setup was easy. Also, adjustment was easy once I figured out where to remove the rubber protectors that covered the screws into which you inserted the adjustment tool. In retrospective, this hidden screw area is a great idea, but it did take me a few minutes to figure it out. I adjusted the unit to its fullest extent as shown in the pic that I have added to this review. I also adjusted the clear book holder to a just the right slant to keep books and my phone in place and not falling over. I tried several books, including a large bible and this stand holds it securely when it is divided half/half. It was challenged a bit when one side was at full capacity. But it still held the book, though the fuller side did not allow proper use of the book clip. Also, I had to make sure to not put too much pressure in trying to fasten the clip since the stand tended to want to topple with the pressure of trying to clip a large book. The stand IS very sturdy but for heavier books, please hold onto the bottom stand as you arrange the book. I will also try to find a book clip that I can use at the top of my bible to keep the pages flat and readable. I also love the stand where I keep my glasses. Also, to help with questions that I had before my purchase, my kitchen counter stands at 3 ft above flooring. With this stand, my books are almost at eye level since I am about 5ft tall. So, for those of us vertically challenged, this stand is great for us. No neck cricks. Overall, this is a great purchase.

I like the fact that the Acrylic Stand from UPERGO product is actually made from the Acrylic Stand that has a strong built and durable stand.Book holder, adjustment angles, foldability of the stand are excellent for readings and can easily hold up to the weight and stability.In my opinion, it is best for lasting longer use and more efficient to use it as well as to maintain your long term use. I never regret buying this UPERGO ACRYLIC READING STAND and can even be use with laptop. Highly recommended product.Thank you!

Perfect for what I needed. Received quickly and in perfect condition. It is very sturdy and holds my large textbooks. I also love the space underneath.

This stand is attractive & well made. I really like that the bottom of the wood has small pieces of padding to keep the wood off the surface. For me, it means it won’t scratch my glass table. The star was deducted because I found it very hard to open the hinges - there is an Allen wrench included to let you adjust the hinges, but until you open them, it’s very hard to get the cap off. The clips to open the pages should be played with before you put the first book on. In the first photo, I did it with the book on and was afraid the clip would break if it was forced into an upright position. The second photo is after the second hinge was finally opened, and the clips adjust before the book was put back on. I also think the ledge isn’t deep enough. My iPad in its case is the same depth., so I’m worried about it falling off if the acrylic isn’t angled back — I prefer books & iPads to be upright.Why did you pick this product vs others?:It looked good, and the reviews said it was sturdy and would work with thick and/or large books
