We keep trying to find a milk alternative that is soy free but also packs a good protein punch. So many of the things out there are misleading or bad tasting or are basically just nut-flavored white water with little or no protein. I once read that a carton of almond milk has like 3 almonds in it or something. During the pandemic, we had even fewer options so we decided to branch out and try something new with Sproud. We were so pleased with the flavor and performance of this product. The fact that it's shelf-stable and long lasting is just another huge bonus. Very pleased- highly recommend.

Updating my review since I found out that this milk contains dipotassium phosphate. It tastes great in both tea and coffee without adding a lot of other flavors, however I won’t be buying more due to the dipotassium phosphate additive.

I saw this product on a post by Robin Arzon (peloton) and was interested in trying an alternative to dairy free using "peas". I found that almond milk is too watery for cereal and unsweetened soy doesn't have the greatest after taste. So, I tried oat and hemp milk which are both thick and sweet in taste, which was a great alternative to milk for cereal and latte'.The "Sproud" milk has a taste to it, most earthy, not like grass but it is something that needs to be said. If you don't mind that, the thickness is works for what it is use for. I tried the original in my latte's, but noticed a barista version. I am going to try it next and maybe the chocolate too.

I had tried this milk at a food fair in San Francisco and was so surprised on the taste that I wanted to take it home then, but it didn't get to our market until now. I am not a milk drinker, but when I tried this milk that is not made from any nuts or coconut I was so excited. Almond milk has a after taste and I am not fond of the taste and coconut milk is not a option for me. This is so smooth and the taste WOW!! You just have to taste it for yourself you will not be disappointed. I am so glad I can purchase this milk now and use it in my baking, it will be a plus because there is a lot of people that have nut allergies and this milk is make of pea protein. It will enhance my cooking and business. The chocolate milk is so awesome too!!I first tasted this milk at a Specialty Food Event in San Francisco, I normally don't drink milk because I don't like the taste. When I tasted this milk I was so over joyed by the taste. I first tasted the chocolate and my tastebuds exploded and then I tasted the the unsweetened and I really enjoyed it. I hoped it would hit our market in the Bay Area, but I haven't seen it, so I signed up on their Facebook page and found out you could order from Amazon to get this milk. I was so glad because this is the only milk I will buy and drink, the taste is smooth and it doesn't leave an after taste. I use it in everything, especially my baking. I have tried the barista and it is just as smooth tasting as the unsweetened. If you are looking for a milk that is nut free and smooth to drink, this is the milk to get.

I love this brand of pea milk! Initially I did not know what to expect but the original flavor has a rich taste and quite full bodied almost like whole milk. I wanted something different from the watery taste of almond milk and this brand of pea milk is quite superior in flavor.

I switched to this product when the chocolate milk I was using became unavailable.It is not as sweet or chocolaty, but it is still good.I use it mostly in smoothies and it works great, plus it gives me more protein which is what I want/need.I'll continue to use it!

I purchased a case of six that arrived on January 3, I just noticed that it’s expired on January 29! I wish I had known about the short shelf-life given that I only go through about one container every two weeks.Absolutely love the product though, great alternative creamer for my morning tea.
