I recieved a email saying i get a product for free due to my resent activity, it's saying even i try it's not free???

Those are what is known as a phishing attempt. Don't even open those kinds of emails. If you do you run the risk of having spy, or malware, installed on your hard drive. If in doubt, just contact Amazon customer service, you will eventually be given the option of having them call you, which they do almost immediately. Also do not open any messages that say something like "Your Amazon account is/will be frozen..." Amazon doesn't work like that. Again if you're in doubt, contact customer service.

Does it show stars. Big dipper etc

Perfect gift choice, it is now my grandsons favorite. He is fascinated by it! Very well made I would certainly recommend it and yes it shows stars lots of them.

Does it cycle through the colors or do you press the button for the next color?

It does both. You can choose a color and there is a cycle option too. :)

Are the planets in the solar system crystal ball ststionary

Hard to tell since they are so small you can barely see them. There is no way you are able to identify the planets. Even tried with a magnifying glass and still couldn’t see them.
