The Adam Helios Brushed Steel Electric Fire with Pebble Bed Glow Effect

Excellent product and looks lovely in my front room

Once in place, the fire looks exactly like the above photo. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

The good stuff:It looks very stylish, the finish is hardwearing and good quality, and it goes together very easily. I've had it in place for a couple of years now, and the sticky tape has done a superb job. Despite the fan heater only being a modest 2Kw, it warms the room very effectively and looks good.The downsides: There aren't enough pebbles (which are very crumbly, as if made of soap) to cover the light box that they sit on. This can look a bit poor, and there is no animated flickering effect - just a white light shining through the stones. They look realistic enough, just not very many of them. I've considered replacing the bulb with a candle-effect one, or another colour, but never got around to it.I would buy another, it certainly filled the gap properly and you have options supplied for flush fitting or standoff fitting. Fitting is generally idiot-proof, so credit to Adam for a generally decent product.

The heat is immediate and the sound is minimal. Flame effect is nice with the stones provided.
