I have a tendency to get blocked pores and sebum plugs, and this seemed to really help make my skin overall smoother and brighter. I feel it helps if your skin tends toward keratin buildup and overall congestion.I found this really hydrating and not at all sticky, but I live in a really dry climate and few things remain sticky throughout the day. It absorbs quickly into the skin and I had no issues with pilling or how it sat under makeup or other skin care items. I like that it's unscented, as that is my preference for skin care. I didn't detect any smell at all from it.I think this one is great value for money and it lasted me several months when I used it most days (either morning or evening, depending on what else was in my routine)

A 15% concentration of the derivative does not equate to 15% pure azelaic acid.
