I like the shape and grit of these files. I have natural nails and they don't damage them. The only complaint I have, is the grit wears down very quickly. I already have spots that are worn completely on 2 files. I'm glad I bought a big pack. They are great for natural nails though!

Classical guitar players often use ultra fine sandpaper to buff their nails. I dislike it because of the tendency to have the edge of the paper cut the nail bed. These buffers solve that problem for me. No danger of cuts and excellent buffing. They leave a very nice smooth edge. One word of advice - don't press too hard. The foam can be damaged by your nail edge if you're not paying attention to what you're doing.
