FUNWHOLE Lighting Camper-Van Building Set - Camper Vehicles Construction Building Bricks Set with LED Lighting Kit 1741 PCS for Teens and Adults

I bought this for fun to commemorate a trip around New Zealand in a camper van. The bricks fit together well and it’s so much easier to install lighting as part of the kit as opposed to adding it on as a separate purchase after the build. The finished product is sturdy and it looks great. In addition there were some clever building techniques required at times. The only negative is that a few pieces were missing - it appears that I got a few extra pieces that looked very similar to the missing ones. Funwhole sent me the missing pieces and it took two weeks for them to arise. In summary this was a fun fairly complex build, looks great, is stable, love the included lights and it costs a fraction of what a similar product would cost from the “big L”. I will buy more Funwhole brick sets.

My 17yr old has gotten into building "Legos" (she calls everything Legos) She started with actual Legos cars, and would finish them super quick, needless to say, Legos is super expensive, great quality, but not challenging enough! I just happened across a FunWhole product while searching for her next build and decided to purchase this bundle!! She has been tucked away building for the last 7 hrs and is about half done with the camper!Superior quality, challenging and so many functions! And the lights are so cool! Way better than any others I have purchased!Will be purchasing more from this brand!

This is a beautiful item. My grandson had a lot of fun putting this together. It was somewhatchallenging with the added feature of light. I feel that it was a good change from the legos that he usually builds.

I am obsessed with FunWhole products. They are great quality and I have yet to miss a piece. I’ve just ordered my third kit. Great way to spend time with my family.

I have around 20 sets from the big famous block company (not sure if I can mention in this review). I’ve done other companies’ sets before, but this is my first Funwhole set.Overall, this is a 4.5 star set for me. The quality is absolutely equal to “L” brand pieces. Nothing felt cheap or wobbly. I think the finished set is absolutely gorgeous, and I loooove how good the van looks with the lights. The attention to detail and all of the little features inside the camper (fridge, sink with “water,” books, curtains, cookware) are way adorable.My two cons are: at a few points, the instruction photos are not quite as thorough or clear as I would like- but nothing that messed up the build, I just had to flip back and forth between pages to understand what they were showing.The biggest con for me was also a pro- the lights. Such a cool feature, and they all worked and looked amazing. That being said, these things (the wires and connectors) are SMALL so if you have big hands or clumsy fingers, you may need to get help. They do provide tweezers which is nice though I didn’t find them too helpful. It was just a struggle for me to get the connectors to plug in, as well as to deal with the cable management. I do these sets as a relaxing hobby so the wire part took a little wind out of my sails. That being said, the finished product is amazing and I’m overall very happy with the display, so I’d recommend this set and brand to anyone who is branching out from the big L company and looking for more options!4.5/5 stars

Read entire instructions before starting (all 401 steps). Don’t check lights before use as you can’t disconnect them. I am building F9012 Camper van and the cable from the battery pack to the “tray” broke. The problem started when step 121 recommends the connection to check light and then disconnect them (with a cable that is installed on step 231). The instructions are Wrong! as the cables are too delicate for the amount of handling that you need to do and the cables are in the way. BTW at step 181, you are supposed to detach the lights and feed them through a hole. I couldn’t as I did the light check on step 121. I had to undo the build and reroute the cable-tray different. After installing more lights, it is when the lights get connected to the tray; but the cables need to be braided to take up the slack. This is when my MAIN power cable broke. I am halfway done and I already know that it is broken. **UPDATE** Vendor responded quickly and provided me a new power cable. Updating rating to 5 stars because of the great customer service. Cables are still thin, so need to be careful during assembly

Super cute a few parts missing, 1 light didnt work and had to glue bottom part it doesnt connect great on bottom part of camper but its super cute!
