I bought this bread machine almost a year ago. It is excellent. I use it 2 or 3 times a week, not only for bread, but also for making pizza dough and focaccia.No issues at all.When other reviews say that the motor is not strong enough, my guess is that the dough is missing water. I never felt that the motor wasn't strong enough.The only con is that it 'walks' when it kneads fast. I have to put some heavy 'obstacles' to avoid the machine going to the floor.But other than that, I am really happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. I like this bread machine. It took my fear off making bread. I have made a lot of bread. The home made bread is softer, smells like bread, but it only last about 2 wks unless you freeze it. I waited a few months to make a review to get a really good feel for this machine. This is my 1st bread machine and the settings are easy to used. The bread machine looks beautiful in the kitchen. It fits perfect. The noise level is mild, but then again I am hard of hearing, lol. i’ve had this for a few months and waited this long to review so i could really get a feel for its worth. this is easily one of the best countertop appliances to hit the shelves, especially if you love to be in the kitchen.this device is great quality, has a variety of settings for different types of breads and mixes surprisingly well. definitely not as large as i would have assumed, but id say about half the size of a typical microwave. i do put mine in the cabinet when not in use, but if my counter space was a little bigger i’d definitely leave it out because i use it probably 3-4 times a week.i’ve made tons of different loaves for friends and coworkers (and myself), dinner rolls, and even cinnamon rolls. it’s got a lot of great function buttons as well as a custom one that is great value especially when you get used to the cooking cycles and time for bread rising. the auto functions with the setting buttons are awesome, you literally just throw all the ingredients in and press a button; it goes thru the mixing, the bread rising (you can adjust based on types of bread), the kneading, the resting, AND the baking without you having to lift a finger. i should have purchased this YEARS ago! 10/10

This is our 2nd Hamilton Beach bread maker after 5 years of twice weekly use, turning out fragrant white bread and cinnamon raisin breads. Bread quality is excellent.Pros: a trusted brand that performed beautifully and reliably until somehow it quit working properly and we were left with bricks of heavy cooked dough. (Yeast was proofed and is good and in date. As cooking is chemistry, ingredients always measured and leveled. Bread machine just quit working) The new model offers 3 sizes of bread, standard bread pan. We make the 2lb size, slice lengthwise and freeze half for later use. Heat level is perfect for all sizes and types of breads, reliably cycling as it should, consistently providing bread with a great texture and crust. Very good value for price. If you have basic ingredients, plus yeast, you always have bread.Cons: There is only an instruction booklet with one basic white bread recipe in the box. Thus, 4* review! The Hamilton Beach website is listed as a source of recipes but I found it to be inadequate. I am very relieved to have my book from previous machine as it includes recipes from breads to dough, to cakes and even jam. Not sure about usefulness of cycles without recipes. I use my own measuring cups so the included cup is no biggie.

I purchased this bread maker when it was on sale, so the price was really good. I bought it to replace a more expensive one that turned out to be a dud. I have made a lot of bread so far and have had no issues and get great bread every time. I'm happy with this purchase!
