I love these strips!
I have a couple of gnarly scars, but I feel so much more secure wearing these. They're helping to smooth my scars as well as turning them white more quickly than I expected. I like that the color of the strips blend in with my skintone for times when I prefer to hide the scars. I can't wait until I won't need these strips anymore, but they certainly are a comfort while I do.

Easy to use, evidence based scar treatment
These silicone scar sheets are the perfect size to fit over the scar from an ORIF of the wrist. They are not to be used on an open or infected wound. You gradually increase how long you leave it on during the day from 2 hours to 23 hours, and wash it more frequently if sweating. I love that these are reusable until the loose their integrity, wash with a simple soap (no oils or scents, like an ivory or castile soap) and let air dry, unless you have a lint free cloth to dry it with. There are 8 in the pack, so you have plenty to rotate through. These silicone strips are not too thick, which makes them comfortable on a place like your wrist. Scar sheets have scientific research behind their use, so you can rest easy knowing you are doing an evidence based treatment, lots of things can irritate and inflame scars, so I personally try to avoid any scar remedies not approved by research in the scientific community. I would purchase these again.

I have used the mederma silicone patches . I thought I would try these due to price. Very disappointed in quality.

For my C-Section
I'm hoping this will help my scars from having 2 C-section as it claims healing old scars.Suggested usage is keep it in place for at least 12 hours and up to 23 hours per day. To allow skin acclimatization, apply it for 4 hours per day for the 1st two days, gradually increasing by 2 hours per day until optimum time is achieved. It is also claims that a healing effect is usually achieved after continuous use of the strip for 2-4 months. Since there are only 8 strips (7 in the picture as I'm already using one), it will end up a bit costly at current price of $16.99 for 8 strips. Depending on the size of the scars you want to treat, you may or may not need more as these can be easily cut to fit your scar size. For myself, one pack is definitely not enough so I'm taking one star off for cost related.Honestly, this pack will only last me a week, so to be honest I don't think I'll see much results, and for the price I doubt I'll be buying again.

Good product
I have a scar underneath my chin from a minor surgery I had done and the silicone scar sheets are suppose to help reduce the appearance of the scar. These are a little on the smaller side but perfect for the size of my scar (I’m actually able to cut these in half), but they may not be big enough if you have a larger scar. Just make sure and take note of the size on the box (see picture). They tell you to start off slowly with the amount of time you leave these on. I actually started mine when I went to bed and kept it on all night without any issues (about 8 hours). You are able to wash these with soap and water so they are reusable which is nice. I washed mine and let it air dry and it stuck the next couple of nights without any problem. Make sure not to have any lotions or creams on because obviously these won’t stick then. Anxious to see the difference they make on my scar in the next couple months or so.

Strip adhesion less than others, also took star off for neurotic instructions
I just had Mohs surgery on my forehead and am trying to keep the scar covered to help it heal. I have cut a few pieces out of one of the sheets and used for about a week now. I have also used other brands on my C-section scar with pretty good success, so in comparison:1) The adhesion on these seems a little weak. Granted, I'm using them on my forehead which can get a little oily, but I can't for the life of me get the bottom/top of the strip not to peel up. I have had to use bandage tape over the strip to make sure it stays all the way.2) Using bandage tape over the silicone strip works great, but when it comes time to remove the strip to wash it off, some of the strips have actually peeled apart, becoming unusable. This is a pity considering the usual ability to reuse these for a while and their price point.3) Speaking of washing the strips: I'm sorry instructions, but who has time to remove and wash these things twice a day? I've never seen instructions that say to do that on any of my other strips. I keep my c-section ones on for 1-2 weeks at a time before I take them off to wash them thoroughly and put them back on. I can't imagine someone wearing these for a few months and feeling like they have to wash them twice a day every day. What a hassle!! Definitely not necessary if you have even moderately good hygiene.Overall, I think these are a fine product, but I would probably recommend a different brand for better adhesion and less pressure from the instructions!

Shorter length than I expected
My wife had double mastectomy and has developed keloid scars from the surgery. These Rite Aid silicone scar sheets can be applied directly onto the scar area. It goes on smoothly with a little room for adjustment. Once applied, she cannot feel it present on her skin. It is flexible and breathable. She is content that using these scar sheets will reduce the scars themselves in time. Please note these specific scar sheets on this package are precut to less than 3 inches. My wife has long scars beyond that and will be using rolls instead. In the meantime, she can still use this smaller sheets for areas that the incisions were made. These are quality scar sheets and individually packaged. They can be worn up to 24 hours and can be resused up to the point of when you cannot clean them any longer.Even though they were shorter in length than I expected, it still is recommended - 5 Stars!
