I have purchased two of these filter housings and they have had no issues at all. I do not use the spring tensioner for the bag sometimes even and it still works great!

I've used larger, higher-priced filter housing like these in my business and thought that this cheaper one would fit the bill for occasional home use where it is tough to justify a $1000 expenditure. Wrong.The quality is low, with obvious scratches made on the interior where the machinist slipped while polishing it. The bigger issue is that there is a gap between the wall and the bottom side of the bag support ring, where it is very hard to reach. The gap is packed with grease which I am finding very difficult to remove. This gap will also be a place for dirt to collect in use and will be virtually impossible to keep clean. This gap shouldn't exist, there should be a smooth weld instead.The whole thing was filthy, with a lot of black grease and metal shavings inside and out. The included filter bag is unusable because they put it inside the greasy housing, so it has grease on it.Maybe some people think it's OK to drink residual grease. I'm not one of those. Unless you have hours to spare using solvents to try to get all the grease off of this, just spend the extra cash on something made to higher standards.
