As a college student it’s been essential to have a stylus for my IPad, at the time of purchase, I needed a quick and affordable stylus and this product deliverers exactly what I needed. It works amazing no lag long lasting battery and comfortable and sturdy build. You and everyone around you forgets that it’s not an actual Apple Pencil lol I love that I’m able to forget about it while I study knowing it won’t die, it’s not an inconvenience at all and it is also usb c which is amazing since I only use one charger throughout the day. I will say the silicon that covers the charging port does change to a darker grey but to be fair it’s been over a year since my purchase so it’s not even important ( it can be easily swapped). It also comes with a charger if you don’t already own a usb c cable and two tips if something ever happens to the original. Overall I recommend this product!Edit: I don’t know how long it’s been since purchase but I’ve had this for a while now, charging is the same build is the same with minor wear, and the nibs have been worn so might have to get replacements after many more months of use. Overall extremely happy with this purchase it’s been the best investment for my college career so far. One issue that I have been seeing recently that there has been times where the pen skips touch such as when I’m drawing a line or letter there is breakage. It’s been a few times where I’ve seen this happen and luckily it’s been gone but for the amount of time I’ve had this pen it’s amazing. Worth your money.

I bought this for my iPad (9th generation) running iPadOS 17.6. It works just like an Apple Pencil. Use it with Apple's Freeform without the "Draw with Finger" setting. Handwrite words and see them convert to print text. The soft cap over the USB-C charging port is not retained but is not essential; leave it in the box, or you may lose it. It fits nicely in the pen loop on my Zagg keyboard/case. The pairing was easy. The four battery-level LEDs are handy. Comfortable to use. What a deal!

Lost my Apple iPencil. Found this item as a possible replacement and took a chance on it. So glad I did. Works just as well as an iPencil, but is better in a couple of keys ways:1) Has ability to turn on and off. And if you forget to turn it off, will power down on it's own after 5-minutes. Saves the charge on the device, meaning you have to charge it way less than anything else.2) Once turned on, the device PAIRS IMMEDIATELY! Can't tell you how much of a convenience this is over other devices that require you to plug into the tablet to pair.3) Charges via USB-C, not via Lightening connector. So nice to have something that charges over the more accessible USB-C standard.If you're looking for a really really good stylus that's incredibly easy and convenient to use, look no further!

I was leary if this really would do the job. I lost my gen2 Apple pen for my ipad Pro, 4th gen. I've used both a gen1 and gen 2 apple pen with my various ipads. They are awkward to charge, need to be paired and don't always stay connected.This stylus worked right out of the box. It came 60% charged. I turned it on and it just worked! I've not tried it with all my apps but so far I haven't found any drawbacks. Easy to recharge with any non proprietary USB charger. Nice to see at a glance how much charge is left by seeing the three bars all lit up on the stylus.I like that it powers down on its own after non use. My apple pen was always in need of a recharge even if left to sit. This one hasn't needed a recharge since I bought it.

The pencil works really well! If you won’t be using this pencil for drawing or fancy writing then this is a great alternative to the pricey Apple Pencil. There are two things that I’ve found as somewhat of an issue. The first is minor. The charging port is on the flat side of the pencil where the magnet is to hold to the iPad. The pencil has a pretty cover that sticks out from the pencil not allowing a good magnetic connection and therefore weakened the ability to hold the pencil to the iPad. If you don’t use the cover then it’s not an issue. The second issue is more for the users who want to draw or use the pen for calligraphy etc. While the open doors have pressure sensitivity, the tilt sensitivity that the Apple Pencil offers does not exist. The tapering of the lines or the thinning out of lines based on the pencil tilt isn’t there. Again this is only an issue for people who need this functionality. Other than this I’ve found the pen to be a great replacement for the sole pencil.

I lost my “Apple” pen, and missed having the convenience of a pen. I bought this hoping that my Apple pen would suddenly reappear, but alas…it must have ended up in the trash. Horrible, I know. Anyway, this pen works 100% perfectly 100% of the time! The only disadvantage is remembering to turn it off when you’re not using it. Charging is very quick. It has "flown" off my iPad a couple times; I don't think the magnet is as strong as the "Apple" pen I’m very satisfied…and the need for manual charging has become second nature within 6 weeks! Highly recommend!

While I am not using this pencil for anything artistic, I bought it for making notes on docs for school. As a broke college student, I didn’t want to invest in the costly Apple pencil. I was skeptical, but for only $20ish, I was willing to take a chance. I’m glad I did! Pen charges easily & quickly by usb cable. Paired easily to my iPad 9th gen, and there are directions included in box for the next couple steps needed to initially pair. It doesn’t charge on the iPad, but it does attach magnetically and will show battery level for pencil in battery settings. This writes smooth and easily. I’m very pleased with this this purchase.
