Having fine, low porosity, thinning curly hair makes product searches very difficult. This has worked so well! Gels tend to be too heavy for my hair, and foams are too sticky as well. So, while this is not holding my hair tightly, it gives it enough product to be good for two days, typically. My hair looks soft and natural while maintaining curl definition well enough.

I decided to purchase after a recommendation from swavy curly Courtney on YouTube. I have similar hair and was looking for a one and done way to do my wavy hair quickly. I wash and condition my hair and comb out with wide tooth comb and spray this generously all over my hair and scrunch, plop for a few minutes then spray again, diffuse and done. I usually give it an hr before I fluff just to make sure my hair is all the way dry. It beautiful and perfect for two full days. The only down side of this is the smell it’s rosy and it hangs out. I get strong whiffs through out the day. I’d like it much better if it was just toned down. I have never tried a better product for my wavy hair. It’s spendy I admit but even with the amount I use it will last forever since I just wash my hair twice a week. Definitely worth it for how easy this makes my routine and how good it makes my hair look.

Love this and all Curlsmith products really. Only downside to me is it can be a bit sticky and you need to use a lot of it, but definitely gives a lot of definition to my waves and curls.

I have 2a/b, course, medium density, low porosity, long (mid back) hair.I’ve struggled with products for years because if they’re too heavy they’ll moisturize my hair and leave it feeling so nice, but they weigh down my waves. But weightless products will leave it too fluffy for my liking. I also don’t like the feeling of products in my hair, and some products make my hair take 6+ hours to dry. Problem is, I like just a little *something* to enhance my texture (without anything it’s very “Hermione granger Sorcerer’s Stone era fluff)This. Product. It is everything. It smells lovely and the scent doesn’t linger, it easily refreshes with a little dampening, it doesn’t leave a feeling or stickiness in my hair, and it gives the softest most romantic waves that will last several days (and subtly enhance braid waves I get if I sleep with my hair braided)I have found 2 ways to use it effectively:1. Wash, condition in shower. Apply leave-in conditioner. With nearly dripping wet hair, divide hair into sections, spray liberally with the product and scrunch with hands, then a microfiber towel. Let air dry or diffuse. This leaves a pretty, beachy effect that doesn’t fluff up in the very humid area I live. And it’s totally touchable! (Very important for me)2. My favorite way to use this: shower in the evening. Wash and condition, apply leave in conditioner. Let air dry most of the way, then blow dry if it’s not dry before bed so I’m not going to bed with wet hair. Braid loosely before bed. In the morning, release from from the braids, dampen the mid-lengths and ends, and spray liberally to the damp hair. It uses less product, and gives the most romantic, well-held but soft enhancement to my waves.I’m pretty sure I’ll cry if Curlsmith ever stops making this. It’s pure magic.

Unscented it is not. I absolutely hate the smell, so I can't use much of it, and I haven't found that it works well the few times I tried to tolerate the scent and use.

The media could not be loaded. I love this. I helps my waves hold their shape after they dry. It’s not crunchy or oily. This is a great product. The price was a concern but it doesn’t take a lot to get great results.

I wanted to love this product!!! I had seen an influencer talk about it and was so excited it was finally on sale. Application was simple, just spray on and rake through. Well, it makes my hair feel like straw!!! Am I doing something wrong?!?! It makes my hair look frizzy and dry. (I have fine, swavy hair) So disappointed, I don't believe I can return this product?
