Q: How tall is the heel? The description gives two different lengths.

You can pick the height you want. The lower heel was a good choice for me so it was a comfortable fit.

Q: Do these shoes run narrow?

I have Fred flint stone feet… tall and wide and they’re too tight for me however I’d say that makes them average on width so not too narrow. They do have a felt bottom though. You can’t wear them unless you’re dancing on a dance floor because if you stepped off a sidewalk into the road and it was wet… they’d be done for, as in ruined. They also seem a little bunched around the edges and toes because of this issue. I hope this was helpful. I was trying to buy shoes like on great Gatsby and found out I bought actual dance floor, dance shoes that I could not wear. I do however take them out of the box sometimes and look at them because they are pretty. 😝
