Glad I bought the large. Comfortable. Willing to pay the price to save the weight.

Let me get the bad news out of the way. This chair does not support up to 320 lbs. I weigh 309 and one of the front legs sheared clean in half while I was sitting in it on its first night of the first camping trip. I get that I’m near the weight limit, and I get that finding lightweight gear at my size is challenging, but for the cost I was really hoping the weight capacity was as advertised. I’m unpacking gear from the trip now and will be filing a warranty claim, but I don’t know what I’ll do with the replacement (besides drop 100 pounds before trying again).For the good news, it really is light, and it packs down small enough to go inside your pack or in a side pocket. The seat material seems very durable, though with all things synthetic, sit back from the camp fire. It’s a smart design, and you can set it up in less than 30 seconds, with the quality shock cord doing most of the work. I guess maybe the chair seat might be confusing for some, or need some elbow grease to fit the seat to the legs, but the “This Side Up” printed on the top-back in large, bright white font is quite helpful. It’s also has a quality look to it, as far as that goes. There are no frills, and it sits low to the ground, but that is all pretty obvious from the images and I wouldn’t expect otherwise from something design to be near ultralight. My initial worries about the legs proved true though. Besides adding weight to use a thicker material or maybe a different material, I’m not sure what else you could do.

Love this. Only wish i had found this exact thing earlier in life lol. Easy to pack places and pretty easy to set up.

This chair is super light and I am 245 pounds and it supports me just fine. Really happy with the overall construction and easy set up for the chair. It really took seconds to assemble and it hugs to body well.

We have a couple of the XL version of these chairs and they are quite a bit bigger -- but the pack down size/weight also is quite a bit bigger. Helinox chairs are great, the most solid/nicest chairs I've had. They setup easily and pack down tiny.
