Women's Arctic Parka II - Vintage White - (Past Season)

I LUV everything about this North Face Parka II. I purchased the Navy Blue and the color is very eye catching and beautiful. I am 5' 2" and the coat hits at the top of my knees. I would have preferred it to be just a tad bit longer like at the bottom of my knees for coverage, but the length is okay and not a problem at all, because this coat does what it's supposed to do KEEP ME WARM. This coat is a KEEPER, extremely warm for the very cold and freezing temperatures we get in New York City. The coat is not bulky while wearing. (I've had the Metropolis North Face for 3 years and I'm always FREEZING in that coat on freezing temperature days, and I always feel the air going straight through it, so i have to add multiple layers for warmth and that is not ideal on any day). THIS North Face Parka II, you DO NOT need any layers because you will definitely be overheated. I LUV the design with the stretched gathering on the sides of the coat to give it a fit definition look instead of looking straight cut plain with no definition. I also like the way the inside of the sleeves are made with the stretch elasticized inner liner to prevent air from going up your arms. This coat is EVERYTHING! You can wear this North Face Parka II with a bathing suit underneath and still be very warm. REAL TALK!

I originally bought this jacket for myself but my daughter liked it so much I gave it to her. We moved to Minnesota so we needed a legit warm coat. I liked that this has a more defined waist so you don’t look like a shapeless blob. I’m 5’6” 155 and 34DD I really like the L but being that MN get to -40 I knew I’d need it larger to put extra layers under so I would have bought an XL for myself. The arms are nice and long and have inner cuffs that keep the wind and snow out. My daughter is 5’2” and 145 and curvy and the Large was perfect for her to wear several layers under When it turns Arctic. She says it has kept her warm (and she gets cold easily) and she loves the fuzzy hood.If you live in a climate wheee it only gets to 20 or 30 you can probably size down From what we have bought because you won’t need so many layers underneath. It has also performed well in the wind and rain.

After a TON of searching, I came across this coat. It is figure flattering, incredibly warm, and the perfect length and weight. I’m 5’6 and 130 pounds. I ordered a size small, and it fits perfectly. It’s a tiny bit snug with a thick sweater or jacket underneath, but is still comfortable. This jacket is warm enough to wear with just a T-Shirt under. I live in northern Illinois, and it holds up against our brutal winters. Overall, it’s a great coat, and well worth the investment.

Warm jacket took much longer to arrive than originally noted. Impression that this jacket was not brand new and had been worn.

Bought this coat recently and love it. This is my second time buying a NorthFace Jacket and I have not been disappointed. Live in the mountains in UT and lots of mornings the temperature is in the single digits. I can use this coat and still walk in the morning before work. Warm, keeps the wind out and waterproof. Appreciate that the fur around the hood is removable too. True to size.

This is actually the second time I bought this jacket. I’m a warm blooded California that gets cold easily. The first time I bought this jacket was when a work trip sent me to Chicago in late January. The jacket kept me warm although it didn’t hold up perfectly well in long sight seeing walks in Chicago wind chill. But, what does? The second jacket was for a trip was to Eastern Europe and it did the job in 20-30 degree weather (no wind chill) great. Other pluses I love about the jacket are: 1. cut and style (I get lots of compliments) 2. Zippered pockets - do you don’t loose your mittens! 3. Zip off fur. Zip off hood. 4. Price point. 5. Water resistant.

I bought this to replace my Northface Metropolis parka and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I bought the medium and it fits perfect, even over heavy sweaters. It is definitely a way more fitted look than the Metropolis and I feel it tuck in at my waist but that is what I wanted. For reference, I am 5’5”, 145lbs and a 34B. It hits just about at my knee.It is SUPER waterproof and very warm. I’ve tested it in northeast Ohio and New England winter weather and it has definitely kept me toasty.Only thing that makes me a little crazy is the bottom zipper gets a little finicky but it doesn’t bother me that much.I got the taupe green and it is a beautiful olive/army green.

I still don’t know how I feel about this coat. Ideally I wanted something that cinches the waist (I’ve searched every brand, every color, every length, etc). I’m very particular with what I’m looking for and I still haven’t decided that this is it. The closest I found was the North Face outer borough coat which has adjustable straps on each side of the waist, but I couldn’t seem to find my size and color (large, black- sold out literally EVERYWHERE) so I decided to give this one a try. I’m reviewing this item with five stars just based upon the fact that I ordered it and it is an authentic North Face, as advertised, same as you would find in stores. For the same price you’d find in stores, but with free two day shipping, free returns etc (I have prime). If you’re not as picky as I am with trying to avoid looking so “rectangular” when wearing a coat then you’ll probably love this one. It’s nice and warm, long, etc.
