If you have more back there I could see how a larger size would be less restrictive, but if you are comfortable in that you are a medium for example, you should by the medium.Remember these are supportive, not “bulge enhancing”. Think jock strap pocket that shapes how you naturally hang. There’s totally room, but it is form fitting to your body, which I like plus no panty lines.If you’re still reading this you were looking for girl’s underwear for a boy body. Been wearing panties for about 5 years now, I was looking for sumthing different. Sumtimes panties aren't that wide coverage in the lower area. These have the better width. But, I personally wud prefer them to be flat, no pouch. That wud hold everything better, tighter, when tucking.Overall, really recommend. Colors are super too.

I bought these Gudan underpants after being dissatisfied with a competing product ("Avidlove Underwear Men's 4 Pack Classic Low Rise Stretchy Hip Briefs Bikini"). The competing product had a very bizarre stitching which created an excess fabric "pucker" on the pouch.From order to delivery it took 3 full weeks for the Gudans to arrive - apparently shipped directly from China. But that's where the bad news ends. The Gudans are made perfectly, and fit perfectly. I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered just ONE size larger than the competitor's sizing charts. These Gudans also have less annoying tags than the competitor. There's only tiny size tag on the back of the waistband.These Gudan underpants were well worth the wait. I will be ordering more.EDIT: I went to order more. I *KNOW* I ordered Large, which is one size up from my normal size. They shipped Large. I'm wearing Large, and am still very satisfied with the product. But...Amazon says in my order history that I ordered Medium. I think that maybe the sizing changed, and Amazon is "helping" me by adjusting my preferred size. Now I have no idea what to order... <sigh>

I've ordered 2 - 4 pack of the Gudan mens silky bikini briefs low rise briefs; 4 all black and 4 with the patriotic colors & black. These are now my favorite underwear! I'm 5'9", 185 lbs 34" waist. The XXL size fits the best as the XL is is too short and snug. XL is short in the back causing a butt crack and you can't pull it up. XXL is perfect as these sit evenly around the waistband with my pants. XXL also has bit more room in front for my manhood. I especially like the width of the crotch as it is more slender and does not bunch up like traditional briefs. The slick material is stretchy and breathable, wicking away moisture on hot days. These feel nice and smooth under jeans exercise shorts. My wife thinks they're hot and sexy too.

The fabric irritates my body. I don't know other people, but after a day my penis, especially my glans felt scratchty.

They run small you better buy the next size up because they are not true to size
