I own many different shades of Maybelline super stay lipstick and am an huge fan. They are all drink proof, kiss proof, etc. They stay on all day and you simply scrub them off with a warm washcloth when you want to remove it. This color is light and pretty and fun :)

Love this color but can’t find it anymore

I don’t write a ton of reviews but I needed to for this lipstick! I’m amazed at how it lasts. I have spent so much money on so many different brands trying to find a matte, long wearing lipstick that I could wear on date nights, or special events. I wish I tried this sooner! I do recommend moisturizing your lips before applying as it is quite drying. Also, applying it with a light hand helps too. It dries insanely fast and it has a very tacky consistency on the lips but after awhile when it dries that goes away. The color is perfection and very vibrant. I bought the shades philosopher (light lavender) and loyalist (nude pink) Another thing I want to add is that it’s very difficult to wipe off without some kind of makeup remover. I used a warm wet washcloth to test this and it wouldn’t budge!

I bought philosopher.Lightweight, matte, vanilla scent, non-sticky, long staying powerI attached a picture. This is after 5 hours of wear, I ate lunch and sipped 3 cups of coffee without reapplying. Still looks pretty good.It does feel a little sticky to start off but after it dries, and I either blot it or sip a drink the sticky goes away after my lips touch something.I'm happy with it especially for the price.I usually buy colour pop or limecrime velveteens.This compares really well and costs less.Only con is the other companies don't test on animals. This company does.So I took a star away for that.

I've been using this product for at least a couple of years now, probably more. I've found that it needs to set for about 15 minutes before eating or drinking, and then it doesn't smear onto drinking glasses or find its way off my lips during the day. I often mix colors (layers) to make custom colors and to make it wear better. I put it on at 7:30a and take it off at 6:30p with oil or makeup remover. When I use 2 coats, it's the most long lasting. I make sure there is some time in between thicker coats. Thicker coats create durability. I will never go back to lipstick that has to be reapplied and that gets all over everything.

This is my absolute favorite lip color. It stays on forever even if you sleep or eat or drink. UGH! I love it. They discontinued the lavender color which is bogus… I bought 3 of them so I wouldn’t run out. But WHY don’t you make these in funky cool colors?! PLEASE give me yellow, give me purple, give me blue, give me orange, give me green, come on now!
