INSULATED FOOD JAR

I bought this item for the purpose of being able to have hot coffee on the go. Then I also discovered that it can keep my silk oats for coffee creamer in our refrigerator in my workplace for 2 weeks.

A really nice product. I don’t know how these hold 12 ounces but I measured it and they do. Keeps things warm for about 5-6 hours, especially if you pre-heat with boiling water before filling. 12 ounces is a great size for a modest entree? The opening is plenty wide to use utensils to eat directly out of the container. These really broaden the range of what we can pack in our kids’ lunches.

Keeps warm but not hot

Since school lunches are crap now we decided to start packing lunches. If you aren't packing hot/warm lunches you have very little variety. This little thermos is awesome!! I would put boiling water in it with the cap on for about 5 minutes, pour it out and put in a hot meal for my daughter at 6:30 am. Buy lunch time at 12pm there were some days she had to blow on her food to cool it off. Of course it helps with more dense foods and how full the container is. We bought a different one before, different brand same shape and size and it was worthless and a waste of money. Don't bother with any other one. Save your money and frustration and just get this one.

Four shining stars from me for convenient size, reasonable price, durability, and heat retention.This little gem is the perfect size for my lunch; it holds about 1+1/2 cups of food. I do like this Thermos but was surprised that it doesn't keep the food as hot as other Thermoses I own, which is why I withheld one star. To compensate for that, I heat the food REALLY hot. That way, by the time I'm ready for lunch (roughly 5+1/2 hours later), it's just fine.BOTTOM LINE: Buy it. You really can't go wrong with Thermos products.
