Good product!
Not only do I live this doghouse, but so does my dog Sadie! Actually I purchased two, and we ended up adding more lumber to make the floor a tad sturdier. I didn't realize when I ordered there were two open windows, so my son cut some plexiglass to cover the windows.....along with some magnets to protect her from the rain blowing thru. I give this house(s) a 5star rating. One thing I'd recommend however is getting longer hinges to hold the roof. We got a foot long piano hinge. Also, the strips covering the door ripped right out, the staples and all! I love how it looks, and almost certain those windows will be very helpful in the summer months!

Perfect for patio, but needed to caulk top of roof
The doghouse is perfect for our patio, though our 70 pound German Shepherd isn’t so sure about it just yet. She has never had a doghouse before, mostly an indoor dog, and it is a little small for a dog her size. But I think she will appreciate getting out of the sun and having a place to lay down that is dry. However, speaking of dry, we had to caulk the top piece as water came down through the slit the first time we had rain. We also took off the flaps, like others did. And getting the film off the plexiglass is also a pain. But other than that we think it will be great place for our dog.

No directions CHEAP material
My product came with installation tools. But no instructions. After setting up the wood was so fragile my dog who’s only a year (30lbs) was able to enjoy his house for the weekend. The quality of wood used is not sturdy. He grabbed onto the plastic part and the whole wall framing came off with it. The walls opened even though they were screwed for security (cheap wood) the floor won’t stay lifted and every time my dog stands on it he and the floor boards fall through. Incredibly disappointing. Not worth it. Especially for an outside bigger dog. This would be great for tiny dogs in my opinion. But not a thing larger than small.

Cute dog house
I liked the design of this dog house because of the windows. I watch my dog with outdoor cameras and I can seen him inside. But it is not as sturdy as I thought it would be from the picture. Had someone assemble it for me and it took just over an hour. It looks great, but my dog weighs 40 lbs and he’s a brutt. He can chew on the frame since he is still a puppy. Other dog house had metal sidings to prevent that. I love all the windows but the side windows are fully open which if it rains will come into the dog house. I thought about adding clear vinyl to them. The floor since removable for easy cleaning wasn’t very sturdy and is two pieces which I didn’t like because it moved around. The floor frame was not tight and when I moved it around the floor would be compromised because it did not hold its shape. The finish on the outside seemed untreated as if it rained it would be absorbed by rain. The seller was willing to take it back and offered a full refund and offered to provide a return label. But, because I liked the design so much I decided to invest in it by beefing up the structure with metal sidings so my dog won’t chew on the frame and upgrade the flooring to make better structurally. Worth it since it is priced well. I didn’t mind putting the extra monies in. The seller offered some monitariry compensation since I decided to keep it. They were great to work with. That made my entire purchase well worth it.

Easy to assemble
I loved how easy it was for me to put this together without help from my husband. The size is great and I the quality of the material is really good. Seems sturdy.

This is NOT for LARGE dogs
We have a 55 lbs Doberman and he fits, but is cramped inside this house. Cannot sit up with roof closed. This is not for LARGE dogs and should not be advertised as if it is. 2-star rating is for that plus it's very flimsy. The instructions even indicate to use a manual screwdriver, not electric, because, presumably, an electric one may easily overpower the flimsy materials. Spending more on a more sturdy product, and larger if you have a large dog, is probably a better use of your money.

Great dog house
The only problem I had with assembling this dog house is the hinges on the roof everything else was super simple and it's a nice sturdy little dog house
