arrived in perfect condition. One tray release button broke. called the manufacturer and we agreed to keep it as I could reach the opening and press. Still use this with no problems. It is the best for Hamburgers,steaks. French toast. Eggs like to run. I love it.

Bought this recently--and already I LOVE this grill. I've been using the stovetop to make grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches with vegan cheese--but found it almost impossible to get that darn "cheese" to melt--until now! Just took this out of the box today to make my first grilled sandwich and it was fantastic! The vegan cheese melted to perfection in minutes.. The bread took on a nice "crisp" texture--and there was NO flipping involved. I can't wait to try other things with this Griddler.

This dual grill and griddle is working well and does a good job with grilling chicken breast. I have noticed the top does not cook at the same rate as the bottom which is kind of annoying, but I’m fine with flipping and rotating. The size is perfect for two panini style sandwiches side by side, 4 large chicken breast’s or 6 small ones. The griddle is great with eggs, pancakes or quesadillas. Makes quick and easy meals with quick clean up.

As the title says we received this griddle back in December of 2020 as a present from my Mom. I’ve been ranting how good it’s been so we got her one as well.We’ve used it mostly for pork chops as it grills both sides perfectly, but we have also made bacon, burgers and steaks.We’ve flipped the metal plates over to the flat surface and have made pancakes several times as well.Clean up is as easy as putting the plates in the dishwasher. There is a grease tray that slides out. Just make sure to check it to be emptied, especially if it something really greasy.It’s nice to still be able to find products that last in this day and age, so I thought that it was worth the time to leave this review.

My sisterinlaw bought this and after using it for the first time at her house, I knew I had to have one. I read all the reviews and I would like to point out that most of the negative reviews were about older models. With this model, GRID 89PC it is my opinion the kinks have been worked out. I find the heat is even, grease trap is sufficient, plates easily removed for easy cleaning. This product has a great design and looks good on your kitchen counter. So far I have cooked rib eye steaks, pork chops, hamburgers and hot dogs. Also, I used the grill to make Rumaki and Little Smokies wrapped in biscuit dough. It is very versatile because the top expands to the thickness of whatever you are cooking. Also, I used the grill to cook breakfast. Fried eggs and bacon on one side and fried potatoes on the other. Way cool. I felt like I was Martha Stewart. It is a must to also buy the waffle plates. Now I am able to retire my mother's old fashioned huge and heavy waffle maker. Also, be sure and follow all instructions for cleaning and care. I expect this grill to be a part of my kitchen for a very long time. Thank you Cuisinart.
