A must-have for your bookshelf
What a wonderful book - we all adored it! The story is hilarious and the illustrations sweep you off into a mad taco-filled world loved by dragons. I wished I had bought this as a hard back book instead of the kindle edition. I may still do that - it was that good!

Spicy Salsa
Do you like Tacos? Do you like spicy salsa? The author, Adam Rubin, has written such a fun book about dragons. Many dragons are big and scary, but these dragons seem to be just right. One important thing to learn from this book is that spicy salsa should never, ever, ever be offered to a dragon eating a beef or chicken taco. Something terrible happens when dragons eat spicy salsa, so be prepared folks, prepare your children. When you read this book, you will understand what you should know about dragons and tacos.Adults will enjoy reading this book to their children. Children will love this book, it is very funny, and is not at all scary. One of the important aspects of reading this book is to understand that this is a book that should be fun. The recipe included will be enjoyed by adults. Children will love everything about this book. The illustrations by Daniel Salmieri, are bright, vivid and colorful. They depict all if the adventures of dragons, tacos, and spicy salsa.Recommended. prisrob 06-20-17

And Kids Love Them both
The drawings have tremendous personality and the story is silly but so easy to follow that little readers get it the first time through. We have a number of books that were fun but seemed to be pretty much one-and-done. This one is always called for and, bonus time, it actually gets better as you reread it. The kids know what's coming with the salsa, and they start to pick up the subtle little jokes that are sprinkled through the drawings. The story has a lot of repetition built into it, but that means the littlest guys know what's coming and start to recognize the words as you turn the pages. That adds even more fun because you start to get a "Hey, I'm reading" dynamic going. The tone is consistently cheerful and the humor is pretty mellow. So, whether for just an upbeat session, or as a prelude to starting really to read, this book was a happy find.

Beyond terrible! The worst children’s book I’ve ever read!
Oh my days, what an absolute shocker of a purchase this was. I think this is the worst children’s book I have ever purchased. And I write this review as a father of four. There is no story here. It’s utter nonsense. If it was humorous I could have overlooked the poor writing, un-engaging content and lack of character development but it is just nonsense from start to finish. My kids were so bored with this they had pretty much all wandered off before I even got to the end. At first I thought perhaps this is a cultural divide with it being more engaging for a US audience (where the authors are from) - it was a bit of a stretch but I felt I had to come up with some sort of excuse for this soon-to-be toilet paper, but then I read the international reviews and it blew that theory out the water. Terrible on all continents. Absolute waste of money.
