Campingaz Party Grill 200

Brilliant. Bought this for 3 week camping tour of Cornwall on a strict budget. This little gem of a cooker allowed me to make great meals for my family with total ease. Pros - packs away neatly, quick and easy to set up, gas cannisters average about 7 pounds, and during the 3 weeks we used 3.5 cannisters, that was for everything except lunch when we made sandwiches. Easy to clean and dry and put away. Heats up really quickly, griddle plate design is great as any fat drips into drip tray and not into flame. I used it with a frying pan and also a wok for stirfrys/curry/spaghetti bol etc, really can do everything on this. So glad I bought it. When comparing it to the bigger version, I would say if you have a large family, you'd need the bigger one, I could cook for 3 people on this smaller one, (1adult 2kids), but the bigger one has more accessories, I looked at this as more things to clean (!) So opted for the smaller one and I'm glad I did.

Edited 3 years later. Brilliant, been on several camping weekend holidays. We are a family of 3, and met up with in-laws & friends. We all used this as a primary stove. 2 of our friends have it now as well.Size - about 20-30cms diameter. Light weight. Lid clips at the side, unscrew the legs and pop in the top. We also found out the top unscrews for cleaning, which is a doddle.Cooked: toast, full English breakfast, beans on toast, bbq, coffee, hot choc, chilli, curry. This worked like a bloomin charm.Would totally get this in larger size or maybe 2 of these.tips: Amazon and mountain warehouse do canisters. Coleman are cheapest. Mountain warehouse 2 for 1. Plan ahead tho, Amazon send in 3 days.You have to have an adult to accept delivery\sign due to ignition being "pyrotechnic". Gas canister lasts more than a full weekend of proper camp fire cooking. The canister 'pops' to warm you the gas is running out.

It has a nice and compact design so it's easy to keep in your tent or car. It burns nicely so your pans and kettle will heat up quickly. Make sure you read the set up instructions because it will make it easier to clean in the long run. Also male sure to buy the right gas canisters because not all brands will fit. Overall a great little stove for a BBQ or camping weekend

We have recently started camping but I didn't want to cook the likes of bacon inside our camper van. This arrived quickly and mostly constructed, just need to fix legs on and gas bottle and away you go. The ignition worked every time provided the gas is turned FULLY on then back it off a little. The non stick grill is great no oil needed. I set ours up on a table but beware the base of the legs are a bit slippy so make sure table is 100% I used a t-towel under it for 2nd use. Water in the bowl collects any dripping fat but don't over fill. So far used it for bacon, sausages, fried eggs in a pan & fresh chicken fillets....all cooked brilliantly. Cools down by the time food has been eaten so soon cleanable and very easy to clean....very happy with this for the 2 of us.

This grill is excellent. You can have it in the table and grill with your friends seated around it, so much more social than being stuck grilling away from the action! It is really powerful and easily grills thick steak, chicken, salmon etc. Having water in the bowl under the grill makes cleaning up afterwards so much easier, also you don’t get burning fat whilst cooking... genius. The cartridges seem to last well, I have cooked for 5 people two nights in a row and the gas is still going strong, considering it was on for several hours each time that’s impressive. It is ideal for taking on staycations or camping as it packs up to a a very compact size.

I've used one of those common £15 gas hobs for 6 years, which has worked well and I will continue using it. But this grill is next level and is better in every way. Even for just boiling the kettle, the flame is sheltered which does well to prevent the flame going out in the wind.The grill function is very good, using water in the base, so fat and juices drop straight into the water, resulting in no scrubbing, just wipe clean.Connecting and disconnecting gas is simple, and can't be done wrong.The built in ignition has worked very well, expect when I got the ignition wet so reverted to a match.The party grill 200 in size is plenty for three of us, and probably cooking for four.No box is included a to store the grill in, but using the cardboard box it comes in works for me. I'm happy with this purchase, but maybe should have bought it sooner.

This is a fantastic cooker/barbecue. Have just used it for 3 weeks camping. Was so glad I bought it. Was easy to use and fast to set up. One piece of advice is twist of blue base first as is really tight first off then put back on but not too tight. Then it’s easy on and off after that. It may be small but it’s surprising how much you can get on the barbecue plate. Cooked loads on it. Another piece of advice is to soak the barbecue plate in hot soapy water as makes it so much easier to clean. And we really wanted toast one morning so tested making it on the barbecue plate and it worked brilliantly. Made toast perfect so did it nearly every morning and won’t do it any other way now. Used kettle on cooker stand and was great. And cooked large pan of pasta on it and was great too. An all round perfect little cooker which packs into itself with plastic lid. Loved it.

I have nothing negative to say! What a fantastic piece of kit. A really affordable version of a cadac. The gas canister is easy to install and relatively long lasting. The heat is easy to control. It folds into the tub making it compact for transporting. Cleaning is sooo easy, especially if you follow the guidance of filling the base with water (catches the fat to easily dispose). Cooks effortlessly. Also used as a stove to put a pan on or kettle and that is spot on too. Would recommend 10000000%
