90541-06036 Black Brake Pedal Pad - Auto Brake Switch Stopper for Car & Truck

They did not fit erfect, I had to use gasket maker glue to install them. Note my Accord uses 2 at the clutch pedal and one on the brake pedal (replace all of them at the same time)

I needed this for my 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring. The brake light stop switch is an easy fix once you have the correct part. After a couple a attempts at local parts stores, I found a partial match but I had to really work to get it into place. It turned out to be temporary solution in turning off the brake lights that were staying on, but the thickness of the stopper actually kept the brake engaged while driving and I had to hard stop to get get the lights on. This piece fit properly, was much easier to get into place and is a real solution to the problem. I have extra pieces now, but the price of this packet was LESS than the price I paid for the one part that didn't work!

Quality plastic. Easy to install and cheap.

Fit my 1st gen tundra nice and tight. A little hard to push in but not too bad. The tops were more domed shaped then pictured, but made a nice temporary replacement while I wait for the oem cushions I ordered to come in. Definately better then the bolt and nut I used to keep my battery from draining over night. They would probably be fine as a permanent fix, but I wanted oem, and didn't want to take a chance of the dome shape wearing the plunger on my switch out over time. Not saying that would happen. Just that ordering oem was small insurance to minimize risk.. Tip.. if you have a hard time pushing the pedal down enough to slip these in. Put it in park, and crank the vehicle up. That should engage the power brakes and allow the pedal to go down easier.

I am so grateful for this product. It fit perfectly in my 2003 Toyota Avalon.I needed this product right away, couldn’t afford the fast shipping fee, however it came in the next day.

The brake switch stopper fit and it was easy to install with a second person.

Used the car check verification on product listing and my 2009 Honda Accord showed as being compatible with this, but it was not. The stopper falls right out of the hole because the stem is too small. I ended up wrapping the stem in duct tape to make it fit temporarily until I get to the Honda dealership to get the correct part. This also does not fit our 2013 Honda Pilot in spite of that vehicle also being listed as compatible.

This part disintegrated on my car and I was happy to find this product to replace it, even though I don't need 12 (I only needed 1) and it was a lot cheaper than the mechanic or auto zone wanted to charge for it!
