Affordable, Functional, Simple
Product was high quality, simple to install on older PC running Windows 10. Standard driver worked great. No need to power with SATA and fit perfectly in PCI slot. USB 3.0 speed and power meet expectancy. Great value for the money.

Did not work for me
On Windows 11 system, device would not run any USB peripheral devices, even though it was powered through bios and showed as operating normally in Device Manager. Perhaps I just got a defective one.

Works well, but may require a restart each time.
This device allowed me to easily extend the number of USB ports on my computer for a decent price. It works, but I have a strange issue, which thankfully has an easy solution.I noticed that when I turn my computer on from a full shut down, it boots up just fine, but it doesn't detect this card, which means none of the devices plugged into the ports will work. However, all I have to do is restart the computer, and then after the restart it works just fine. So for some reason, the computer will not detect this card (or any devices plugged into the ports) when booting up from being shut down, but if the computer is already on and running and I do a restart, then everything works fine.If any of you have the same issue where you turn your computer on and it doesn't detect any devices that are plugged into the ports on this card, just do a restart and you should be fine. It's a bit of a nuisance, but at least it's a quick and easy fix. If it wasn't for this one issue I would have given it a 5 star rating.Other than that, it works great!

Works well
My computer on-board video wouldn't work when trying to wake it up after going to sleep. After installing card it took a few minutes for my computer to find the Nvidia software from where ever but after that everything was good. I have video now when my computer wakes up.

This Expansion Card Was Not Recognized By Windows 7
Could not install windows 7 drivers. Computer must recognize the expansion card before the driver installation will install the driver(s). My windows 7 and bios did not recognize the card as though it was not connected to my mother board. Further research found that older computers (windows 7) require a power connection for the bios and OS can see the card. There are expansion cards that provide a power connection for the older computers. I have one to be delivered tomorrow. Learning something new every day.
