I mean it's Lego, it is what it is.We bought it for our 4 year old, who needed some assistance to assemble, mainly to keep him focused on it! Subsequently, our 7year old has rebuilt this, after the 4yr old did what he dies best and smashed it up...she was able to build it without assistance using the instructions.A welcome addition to the rest of our growing city range, and offered decent value for money. Easily an option as a gift for a 6+ yr old

Fun to build and the instructions are easy to follow. Even my three year old could follow them and assemble some of it. She needed help with the smaller parts. It is good value for money. Has 4 lego figurines and a dog, a motorcycle and a car. The reason for three stars is the whole building part is a bit flimsy and keeps coming apart which is frustrating for a child while he plays. I get that the jail is supposed to come apart but when the whole police station crumbles it becomes frustrating.Apart from that there is a lot of play to have with this set and a lot of fun.
