What is the spacing measurement of the feet for checking with my tile?

Spacing? I just step on and off. I have my feet a couple inches in between my arches and an inch or two in from both sides of the scale. There is space behind my heels too. So I guess as close to center of the scale as possible with a little space between feet.

Does this scale allow you to pair it with more than one device / phone?
