We have those in our house all the time for a diabetic family member. They are a staple in Europe to have handy for low blood sugar - goes right into the blood and picks it up. Other than that, they do give you a boost of energy. Sadly, they are quite expensive over here, but they are imported.

I first encountered these in Germany and I was full of doubt about their worth as touted by my German Friend. Boy was I surprised. First the taste is pleasant rather like powdered sugar but better. But the real surprise at the instant boost in energy they provide. Their best when sucked slowly rather than chewed; but either way is good.

As a type 1 diabetic, it's important for me to carry around glucose/dextrose in order to treat any low blood sugar (hypoglycemic) events. I first tried these dextrose tabs when I was in Sweden. They seem to be more effect than any other glucose tabs I can find in the US. The flavor is a bit chalky, but that's expected given the nature of them.*not medical advice* It seems I can eat half the amount I normally would with American-derived glucose tabs to treat a hypoglycemic event, making these much more cost effective for me.The compact packaging and limited plastic is great too. Though these have more plastic than the ones I purchased in Stockholm.Very glad that I can get these here in the US.

They seem to work and taste wise can be addictive. They taste very yummy

I have ordered this item numerous times and it was great until this last time. BEWARE! They are now cutting the 3 pack and only sending 1 while charging the same!

Anyone who suffers from poor circulation from time to time should have this with them. Works quickly.
