Currently, we offer only medium-soft bristles, which are made from plant-based materials. Our medium-soft bristles have been carefully designed to provide the perfect balance between effective cleaning and being gentle on your gums and teeth. They are ideal for most people, as they efficiently remove plaque while minimising any potential damage to your gums or tooth enamel. Many dental professionals recommend medium-soft bristles as they suit a wide range of oral care needs. If you are in doubt or not sure what is the best bristle hardness for your specific oral health needs, we always recommend you check with your dentist or hygienist.

What is the difference between the "Everyday Clean" and "Polish" modes?

Hi Wilzka, The Everyday Clean is a softer mode that is great for all-round cleaning. The Polish mode is a stronger mode that is also great for all-round cleaning and has more strength. Both provide a great clean and it comes down to personal preference. Thanks, Team SURI

Can a 10 year old use the brush?

Yes, children as young as 10 years old can use a SURI sustainable electric toothbrush. SURI is an excellent electric toothbrush for our young brushers, thanks to its small handle and medium-soft bristles. If your child has never used an electric toothbrush before, just keep an eye on them for the first few days to see how they react to the power. It is best to start with low power until they get used to the feel of the electric toothbrush. Remember to advise your child not to press the brush hard against their teeth, and encourage them to move it slowly and steadily while brushing. How much is the fee for a battery replacement?

We estimate the cost will be £25 for a battery replacement that we will complete on your behalf. Our batteries should last many years before needing replacement (hence we can only provide an estimate of the cost of battery replacement - as the prices could lower in the future).
