Yet another " problem " that rim brakes don't suffer from . I am new to disc brakes and realise why the bike industry loves them . More maintenance , more expensive parts , and more need for items such as disc brake cleaner . I try to avoid contaminants on the discs but when it happens , this stuff works well .

Followed the instructions and this worked well on my disc brakes, Takes off the grime and dirt and stops squealing brake pads for a while. Very easy to use product

Works as it should but I would say nail polish remover works best

For a good while I used the Muc Off dry cleaner, which i find excellent. But as the rain came found I was cleaning bike after every trip and re-lubricating. Decided to try this one. Fantastic. Not messy as some people say, at all. Easy to apply and wonderfully effective. Really pleased, knowing chain not rusting or receiving damage from charging through rough and muddy, sandy, gritty terrain. As suggested it is possible to leave the bike as much as 250 miles without problems. Superb!

Yes, does the job much better than any other disc brake cleaner I have tried. The chemicals used are not as harsh and toxic, either. Used Muc-off to improve the braking and stop squeal on an old BMW motorcycle with ATE brakes - those who are familiar with these brakes will know what I mean as they are not the best in the world. I also had an annoying squeal that was loud enough to be heard by pedestrians. Result: Improved braking and the squeal that I have been trying to get rid of for ages has disappeared. Another reviewer has mentioned that his/her brakes did not work very well after application of Muc-off, but improved on use. I would agree with this, so bed the pads in again with care and ride the bike carefully until everything is working again. It will only take a few hundred yards, though. Very pleased and will definitely buy again. Simples.... :)

It stops the squealing brake discs but doesn't last long, you need to keep reapplying regularly.

First time using this, and it totally worked. Easy to use. Just spray the discs and wipe away after a few mins. I use it all the time, now. Not cheap, but the relief is worth it.
