Q: Mine has begun making a clickity noise while oscillating, is there a way to stop this or a reason why its happening? 2 months old.

Mine is 3 months old & it is not making any noise. I would return it for a replacement fan as yours must be defective. It could be that it needs some WD40, but why should you have to deal with taking it apart & figuring how to put that on. We have a friend whose had theirs for years, & theirs do not make a clicking sound.

It is recommended not to take the fan apart, instead use a vacuum cleaner with the narrow attachments or with the brush attachment to remove any dirt accumulated in the exhaust vents. You may also use a can of compresses air; it is suggested to do this procedure outdoors to remove any excess debris. I have no idea what gear up a room means... If gear is a typo for heat... then no.
