If you have sensitive skin especially in the summer when you sweat more this is a good product that keeps your skin under control. I am using it while showering and keeps my back acne away and my skin smooth. I wouldn't use it on my face as I am not a professional and don't have enough knowledge but for me for that particular purpose works great!

According to the seller, this bar has only 0.4-1% salicylic acid, which is quite a large range (therefore we don’t really know how much we are getting) but also very low compared to most over the counter products which can range from 0.5-2%. A more potent ointment/serum can range from 2-6%. This basically means that the soap is safe for everyday use on most skin which isn’t sensitive, but be wary that overexfoliation is a thing and can make your skin worse if you don’t know what you’re doing. I would only recommend using this directly on your BODY as the skin on the body is thicker and therefore more resistant to acid and exfoliation, especially if using multiple times a day. Do NOT use the bar directly on your face as the apricot scrubs is way too harsh and will cause havock (micro tears in your skin, inflammation, acne). The formulation of the soap (as expected with all bar soaps) is also very drying which is another reason why you shouldn’t use this on your face. There are other toners, serums and facewashes designed for the face with acid which will be far more gentle and effective. Luckily the bar lathers up quite well so it’s best to lather some into your hands and then spread it onto the area. You also have to leave it for a little bit of time to actually let the acid work (on my body I wait about 3 minutes). If you wash it off straight away then the only thing about it that will exfoliate you are the kernels if you rub the bar straight on your body. The outside of the bar was quite smooth and I didn’t think that there were many kernels in there, but once you get past that layer there are quite a few and it does work quite well as a scrub. I’ve been using the bar once everyday for a month on my chest, back, shoulders and arms for tackle body acne and I’ve used up about 1/3. I read some reviews that the smell was bad, thankfully those were all rubbish as it literally just smells like clean soap, which is good. As for the effectiveness, I’ve noticed a smoothness in my skin, and some dark marks have faded over time, with no irritation (except for the kernels from the manual scrubbing which are to be expected). The active acne had started to decrease over the first 2 weeks. Once I got to about week 3-4, I noticed that the acne started to get worse and I think it is due to the irritation of the scrubbing. I will use the bar up for another 2 months to see if there are any further improvements. If you’re looking for something for body acne then I would give this a go to try as it is fairly inexpensive and could work. The formulation and product itself is good, as long as you educate yourself on skincare and do not overuse it.

I bought this soap because of the reviews and also the product ingredients.Well I can honestly say its amazing!I used mainly for my legs due to sun exposure over the years and just after one use my legs look so much better. So pleased with this soap. Definitely slather plenty of moisturiser after use for a wonderful feeling. I will be using this all the time now.

I've been sitting on reviewing this for a while as I may have gotten confused over the purpose and use of this soap. To start with, I purchased this with intent to use it as a facial soap, but after using it for a while I would say, while you can use it on your face, I wouldn't do so every day. The reason I say this is because I found it quite drying, but I have dry skin already so maybe it just wasn't the best product for me. The soap itself is rather nice, compared to other reviews, I quite personally like the small abrasive 'beads' in the soap, they can be a bit scratchy though so avoid sensitive areas of your body such as armpits.. (big mistake) The scent is mild, quite a normal generic soap smell. Over-all I'm not sure about this product as a facial soap, I would class this as a premium soap that's good for exfoliating skin, don't get me wrong it's not a bad soap, just not for the purpose I intended it to be used for.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace my current salicylic acid face scrub which took ages to rinse off . I took a chance in this revitale soap and it is amazing. I like the sharp feel of the exfoliating beads in the soap. I use it in a morning and evening as my pores clog fast working in a dusty factory. This is honestly amazing. I also use it as a pre shave scrub before I wet shave my head. I got a cover shave and my skin feels so soft and clean after. I'm ordering 3 more bars right now it's good stuff.
