SlimeBike Inner Tube with Slime Puncture Sealant, Self Sealing, Prevent and Repair

Works as intended. Well I don't know yet as I haven't had a puncture or have I? Lol as I guess I wouldn't know right or see a little green dot. But as of yet nothing. Bought it to do up my classic muddy fox mountain bike. Price was really good also. Great value for money.

I bought this as have had a couple of punctures on my commuter ebike recently so I was unsure whether there are environmental changes leaving more debris on the road than usual or if I've just been really unlucky. I just wanted something to get me home with a small puncture as changing or patching a tube is no fun in the rain.My initial response that it was much heavier than I expected, although it doesn't seem to have had any effect on the battery performance. I have used it for well over 100 miles now and no sign of a puncture so fingers crossed.It comes with a green valve cap so unless you are like me and have many caps from old tubes, you might want to keep the one from the tube you're replacing.I will update if I get a puncture to share how it did.

Ok they add a bit of weight to your tyres.... and also if you do get a puncture, you should still replace or repair the tube... however the slime should get you home at least. The inner tube version is a v high quality thick walled tube (i used to get a normal inner tube filled with slime by my bike guy, till I found you could buy them pre filled).I was very happy with the quality all round, and they are not much more that a good inner tube anyway... but you get a peace of mind knowing that a cut tyre won't leave you stranded... as this green stuff oozes out and hardens (so fast you probs won't notice it happened) I forget the size of the cut it will seal, but it's a reasonable size.All I can say is I get the car version now as well (alongside thick walled 'run flat' tyres)Yeah I'm just a fan of the product, just remember it doesn't make you immune to punctures (nor do they claim that).... and a tube needs replacing or repairing if you do see a bright green spot on your tyre 😉, but as a 'get you home on a commute' product.... well I think it's great. Certainly saved me from walking more than once. I recommend totally, but maybe not for the Pros out there, as there is a weight penalty for using it. However if cycling just for fun or commuting... it's just brilliant (and consider the car version as well... saves putting a space save on until you get to your tyre place... and its not expensive).A superb product in my humble opinion! 👌😊

No use whatsoever. Replaced my daughter's tube with one of these. A couple of days later, it had gone flat. I took off the tube and found Slime coming from a tiny hole, smaller than a pinprick. The Slime hadn't sealed the puncture and, worse, had gummed up the valve so air couldn't be pumped in or released. Total waste of time and money.

Puncture resistance:Got a lot of punctures commuting , have had none since purchase.

Been using this for 4-5 months and had no issues. However, I got a puncture today and it is now constantly leaking air despite saying it “stops flats for 2 years” so I will see if I can get a replacement. If not just buy these from Halfords as they guarantee the 2 year warranty on these and charge the same price.
