Q: How easy is this to install?

Lift pump, place mat on floor, place pump on mat....couldn't be much easier.

Hello it is definitely 300mm x 200mm x 25mm. They are very expensive and probably cost a lot less to manufacture, however, I have 2 pumped showers in the loft and I tried it on 1 first by placing a concrete block down across the rafters first then the mat on top of that and then the pump. It made a big difference to the vibration and sound in that it was so much more quiet. I have since bought a second mat for the second shower and am very happy!

We have found that it does help reduce vibration and dampen the noise of our Large shower pump so it may well do the job for you. I would say it’s well worth trying.

Q: How much noise will this remove from a shower pump?

It certainly is quieter than previously without it. I would add - allow for the thickness when you are connecting it to the water pipes - it is quite thick (which is good) but can make it difficult toget under the pump.
