Perfect Cable for what I needed
I needed a cable to connect my Plantronics HW261N headset to my Polycom VVX500 phone. The A10 cable that my phone provider recommended did not work. So, after a bit or research, I got this one on Amazon (Prime). It arrived very quickly (despite being December 20) and it works perfectly between my headset and phone. It looks good and has good workmanship so it should be reliable.I also have a Plantronics HW301N headset that I use with another Polycom VVX500 phone and I tested this cable and it works perfectly with that headset too. I THINK that this cable should work with any of the Plantronics quick disconnect headsets and the Polycom phones. This cable has solved a big problem for me and the price is right.

Cable works great - make sure it is compatible with your phone and headset
The cable I needed at the right price. Just be careful that this is the cable for your particular phone and headset system. I use this at work for teleconferences since the walls are thin and speaker phone use is rude. We have two different telephones for people at work and when the headsets were ordered all of them were ordered with cables for the less expensive telephones. When I got mine it didn't work. A bit of research and I realized that the systems ordered didn't come with the right cable for my phone. After figuring out which was the right cable I found this one at Amazon for the lowest price I could find and now my headset works perfectly with my phone.

Be careful of the Grandstream IP phone compatibility guide
I originally bought this cord to connect a Plantronics headset to my Grandstream GXP1450's headset port.It is specifically mentioned in the Grandstream "headset compatibility" guide by part number. What's not clear in the guide is that they also call out yet another passive adapter that must be used inline with the cable to function properly.Long story short, I determined that the headset would not work correctly with the cable alone since the microphone polarity is reversed. By physically removing the RJ9 plug and installing a new one rotated 180 degrees (upside-down) it fixed the polarity problem and the headset works correctly.Given that Plantronics sells at least 4 variations of this cable, it's not clear if a better one is truly more suited for this application. In any event, hopefully this will help another hapless person who's read the Grandstream compatibility guide and doesn't want to fork out yet another $20 for another passive adapter.

Plantronics Quality
This is a good cable, but be carefull, it will not work on Grandstream IP Phones.Grandstream support said this product work, but it really doesn'tI change them for the Plantronics U10P-S 38099-01, and this model work for meI gave them 5 start, becouse the product id OK and has Plantronics Quality, it is just I choose the wrong model.

Works as intended
This quick disconnect works with my Polycom 335s and IP550s. It appears it can be a little complicated to get the specific one... but it bridges between my HN301 and Polycom phones just fine. I've tried cheaper options but it appears they weren't intended for the two pieces of phone system that I have and I had to return them.If you are looking through these quick disconnects trying to buy a bunch in bulk - make sure that you pick up ones that are made specifically for your phones. There are incorrect ones out there (and I'd like to save you from making my mistake).Best of luck!

Works, Cheaper, But Fake
These work, although they are probably Chinese made and certainly fake. I have a real one, and no part of the real and this matches. The real one is made in Mexico. I tested this cable and it does the job for half the price of the real cable. We shall see the longevity. On the photos the real one is on the left, this fake item is on the right. Amazon photo shows the real one with the Plantronics logo clearly visible, but the seller New Age Deals sent me fakes. This is wrong and frustrating.

The perfect solution for my at home remote Customer service job
This was super easy to connect and absolutely worked on the first try. The Plantronics headset I bought did not plug into the landline phone but this little adapter goes right into the place where your handset plugs in and then snaps into the headset
