We have a black Labrador bitch, who suffered from stiffness especially in the evenings. This supplement was recommended to us by a vet and a number of other nearby dog owners.They are given once a day and we give our lab three a day. We tried giving it by hand but she refused them. We now put them at the bottom of her food bowl and as she’s a lab, her food isn’t in her bowl long enough for her to notice the tablets and we’ve no longer had a problem with her taking them.Since she has been taking the tablets, we have noticed that she has a lot more energy and the stiffness seems to have gone. After my 15yrs old GSD started showing signs of weakness in this back legs around the age of 12yrs, I did what most of us do, visit the Vet. I do like Lintbells products and find them effective but they can prove a bit pricey - hence the 4 rating rather than a 5. My dogs are more than happy to consume these and they can be bought at offer prices from time to time which makes them more affordable. I would however say that if you've got a large or very large dog - 35kg and over - the cost can mount up as the number of tablets is pretty high (especially the weeks of initial dosing).Three tablets is the equivalent of one 750mg glucosamine tablet from the likes of Holland and Barrett's ranges or Costco's Kirkland range. If your dog will happily scoff something that isn't flavoured with pork, beef or chicken you could save a lot by having a surf of what else is out there.

Makes such a difference to our labrador - given her so much extra quality of life

We have a 12 year old yellow lab whom started to slow down last year and also limping on and after walks. He was also showing signs of his hind legs weakening.I initially put him on turmeric paste which made a lot of a difference but also read that in addition Yumove might also prove helpful in supporting an older dogs mobility. I purchased those tablets 5 weeks ago and can see a positive difference in my dog. He finds it easier to get up as well as moving around in general.He therefore also seems to be happier within himself. I also like to mention that in addition to those tablets he is still on turmeric paste as well as target exercises for his hind legs to keep the muscles strong.Therefore in our case we do not just rely on those tablets but rather a combination of the three things mentioned above. This has enabled us to continue long walks with him without any major problems and without having to put him on any medication that can have such nasty side effects. One has to be patient and not expect sudden changes or a miracle. It took about 4 weeks in our case until we saw changes in him. As already mentioned he seems much less stiff and moves around freely. His overall gait has improved significantly. He still has a slight limp after resting but this is less severe now and only last for a couple of seconds and I am keeping my fingers crossed that this will disappear completely as we are only into week six on the tablets. But even if it doesn't so far I am extremely happy with the results and have just ordered a second batch. He will be on them for the rest of his life. He also loves them and just eats them as they are. I have also spoken to my vet about and he is is full support and has recommended them in addition to turmeric paste.

I can not believe the difference in my dog after taking these tablets,i could see a difference in him after taking 3 a day for a week,now its been a couple of months hes a back to his old self and enjoying life again
