Is the tea caddy lid supposed to be airtight

It’s as airtight as most of these caddies. Just leave the silver foil insert inside and fold it over after use, and you’ll find your Sencha stays fresh. Hope this helps.

Doesn't say on the cylinder nor on their website, but all their teas out of Japan are apparently tested and free of radiation etc. Honestly, the organic label won't do anything special to the taste of the tea... But if you're considering pesticides and concerned about fertilizers I guess you'll have to look for the expensive one that says organic in the label

L-theanine allows for a significantly greater tolerability of caffeine in Green Tea compared to coffee and black tea

How long does it last?

Its lasted so far for about 4 months and we are not even half way through it!! We have it about once every two weeks and ate absolutely loving it!!! Not only does it give you a long lasting luscious taste, but gives that extra boost of energy to help you through your day :) 5 STARS!!!
