Does it work well with rose cutting?

I have not used it on roses that much but have on peppers, butterfly bushes and hydrangeas with about a 98% success rate. So with my experience I would say yes. But I have always used it with rooting sponges. So this could also add to the success I have experienced

Can I use with newly germinate seeds in a plug? Or is it specifically for cuttings? Thanks

I bought this for cuttings. The booklet that came with it states you can use it with seeds as well and will germinate them. In this case I don’t think it is any good because you have done that job already.

Normally I'd put lavender in water. Use something that is clear and watch for roots, it can take a while. I've never added anything to the water, and had a reasonable success.
