Stainless Steel Tongue Cleaner (Colours May Vary).

I was recommended this product by amazon whilst looking for a typical tongue brush, and despite having a medieval appearance that could appear quite daunting to put in your mouth, this is such a simple tool that gives amazing results; far better results than I've had with any tongue brush.I use this product twice a day after brushing, and have found the best way to use it personally is to hold with two hands for maximized control. This tool will remove any grime/coating from your tongue in around 3-4 gentle scrapes, and the design allows you to reach further back on your tongue without inducing the gag reflex, and allowing you to remove more grime.Do remember that your tongue is very sensitive, and therefore scraping too hard will definitely have issues later on in the day and can cause sensitivity and pain. Using one hand is also effective, as this prevents you from being too rough and thus sorting the potential pain.The stainless steel material also means that the product can be cleaned easily after use, and shouldn't need replacing for years - I've had this product for over a year and it still looks like it just came out of the packaging. The rubber handles allow for easy gripping with wet hands, and the product also comes with a fabric holder to store the product safely when not in use.Seeing as most of the harmful bacteria in the mouth are found on the tongue, it's a fundamental buy and works perfectly. The results are instantaneous, and I've found myself waking up with less morning breath too! For £5 this product was definitely worth the money for the amount of use I've had out of it, and will not hesitate to buy another if the current one fails to perform its duty, which is unlikely!Directions for use:1. Place cleaner on tongue as far back as is comfortable.2. Gently glide the cleaner forward, 'scraping' off unwanted matter.3. Repeat 3 or 4 times.4. Rinse well.5. Use twice daily for best results. Use with one hand or two hands for more precise control and comfort.

I have never written a review before but I felt like I had to after the service I received from this seller. I ordered this tongue cleaner but it failed to arrive on the delivery date. I emailed the seller and got a reply from a very helpful lady the same day who told me that sometimes these are delayed due to being relatively small and sent in small packages, and that if I hadn't received it within a few days she'll send another one. A few days later I got the product and a week later I got another one. This must've been because they were concerned that I hadn't received it and decided to send another one. I don't know how much these cost to manufacture and the profit they're making, but the fact that they immediately sent a replacement without me even asking says a lot about the company.As for the product, it's as expected and very good. Cleans your tongue and the metal part is convenient over other tongue cleaners as it covers the entire tongue and within a few quick strokes you're sorted. Would definitely recommend, best company and product I've used so far on Amazon.

I tried this tongue cleaner on impulse after being recommended it while searching for the more usual type of tongue brush on amazon. Despite looking slightly scary, it is actually really easy to use and the results are much better than a standard tongue cleaning brush.I have found the best way to use it is to hold it in one hand as this prevents you from being too rough with it, which can make your tongue a bit sore. It removes any coating from your tongue in one or two gentle scrapes, and the design allows you to clean further back on your tongue without causing gagging, another problem I had with my previous tongue cleaner.Another really good part of the design is the material - stainless steel - which means it can easily be cleaned after each use and should not need replacing - I have had mine for several months now and it still looks like new.If you are looking for a tongue cleaner, don't be put off by the weird appearance of this contraption - it works really well, is clean and hygienic and in my opinion is much better than the brush-type cleaners both in function and in results.

I tried a plastic/silicone one before this one and really didn't like it. I love the shape and feel of the metal scraper on the tongue. The two-handed grip feels nice in the hand. And it comes with a handy travel bag!

I have very good dental hygiene (so my dentist announced) and I think that is largely due to my Phillips sonic toothbrush and regular flossing ( sooo important) I personally was questioning though whether my tongue could be cleaner ? I always just brushed it lightly and swilled with mouthwash but couldn't reach right to the back for gagging. I thought I would try this gadget to see whether it was easier than my toothbrush. The first time I used it I held with both hands and pushed too hard I really did not like the sensation one bit ! I now have got the hang of using it though with just one hand and lighter pressure . I can reach right to the back of my tongue without gagging and find it efficiently removes tongue nastiness. I like how it is made of stainless Steal because it is easy to clean and is hygienic . The little bag is also handy to keep it in when not in use. Other advice I would recommend is that I find water assists in tongue scraping, don't have a dry mouth and build up gently .Thank you for taking the time to read my review and hope you found helpful .

Hi this was recommended as the best type of tongue scraper available by a functional dentist. It is easy and comfortable to use (very springy metal and rubber handles), is very effective at getting a lot of gunk off your tongue, keeps your breath fresher and expect it to last many years as it looks very durable. It also has a nice looking travel pouch with a draw string so you can take it with you when out n about if you wish to be a teeth nerd.
