a bottle lasts about 4 days per adult in the west of Scotland during midge season.

Q: does it work in the Caribbean?

Well I've just returned from Trinidad and Tobago (so south Caribbean) and Smidge worked in the rainforest walks and all other wild places we went to. No malaria there so can't report on those mossies, but Smidge is reported to act for those. No reason not to believe that based on my use in UK, Europe and now Caribbean.

Q: Does this work on mosquitoes??

Well I took it to Croatia where I usually get bitten and came home without a bite. So it works for me. A friend also took it to Barbados and he said it was good. I would say it is worth a try.

No, and thats why i buy it. There is an information page about what is in it on http://www.wikaniko.com/shop/media/wysiwyg/Smidge.pdf. It does what it says but I have to admit I dont know really what the properties of Saltidin are and that is the main ingredient. I find it works better than DEET, and In the amazon basin the DEET seems almost to attract mossies
