I have been using the Duracell Recharge AA 2500mAh batteries for several weeks now, and I am very satisfied with their performance. Purchased 6 garden lanterns with LED candles - each take 3 AAA batteries that actually only turned out to work for just over a week - obviously having to replace 18 batteries a week would be both expensive and terrible for the planet.Decided the only option was rechargeable batteries - I decided to pay more for a trusted brand and purchased 2 of these chargers so I could at least charge 8 batteries at a time - arrived very quickly and although they say pre charged I read you should always charge fully before use - the green light came on after about 20 minutes or so .They have worked perfectly powering the outdoor candles for just over a week but now needed charging.I don’t know if I’m stupid or missing something here but I thought I was buying a charger that took 45 minutes to charge the batteries - after an hour and the red light still on I was thinking something was wrong but both chargers were the same - it actually took 2 and a half hours to get the green light so I’m glad I invested in 2 chargers as I need to charge 18 batteries a week.Can’t comment on how long the batteries or chargers will work - I am hoping for 2 or 3 years as I did outlay quite a bit of money for the chargers and batteries - if they do it will of saved me a fortune in the long run but only time will tell.

Really great charger and speedy too. Think how much you save not having to keep buying normal batteries, when you can use rechargeable batteries for about 100 charges.

Duracell is one of the best batteries

Have used several types/brands of rechargable batteries, but these seem to work VERY well. Last a good long time, and charge very quickly (with the Duracell charger, bought seperately)This is the second pack of these bought, needed some more and very happy with this.
