OEM is always the best route to go.
I bought a good brand name aftermarket cap, but its ability to hold under high pressure when hot is not adequate and resulting in steam coming out slowly over time and needing coolant refill. This OEM cap fixed it for good! Trying to save some bucks early on and ended up spending more on my Tacoma. OEM is the way to go!

Perfect OEM replacement.
Ordered on Amazon but then ended up going to the Toyota dealer the same day. The OEM is on the left and the one from Amazon is on the right. Both look identical including the package. Dealer cost was $28. This fits my 2008 4Runner with the V6.

Perfect fit
My truck kept over heating and I notice my coolant kept dumping from my system. I thought maybe I had a faulty thermostat or my water pump was bad. I replaced both but to no avail. Someone recommended I change my cap so I tried it and it worked like a charm. No more overheating. I prefer using oem parts and this appeared identical to my old one.

If you have a Toyota, spent the $$ and get the real Toyota cap.
The spring rates in the other brands are not perfect and your radiator will purge into the overflow at the wrong temp. Then the cap won't allow the radiator to draw back coolant from the overflow. These toyota caps work exactly as they are supposed to
