Classic Argentine Treat

These are absolutely wonderful. They are the same classic treat that you find in Buenos Aires. Wonderful chocolate coating over the dulce de leche filling. The only problem you will have is disciplining yourself not to eat the whole box.

My favorite alfajores

Delicious and fresh like I remember them! I have tried other brands here in Amazon, but these my favorite! I particularly enjoy the milk chocolate ones. I did not enjoy the white chocolate and suspiros alfajores by this same brand (they weren’t bad, just not as good as these ones).

Alfajores are a fantastic gift

If you want to impress a chocolate fan, try these. Especially if you are buying for someone used to American chocolate, they will be impressed by Havanna alfajores. The spiced cardamom flavor makes these stand out from the typical flavor of cheap supermarket canned dulce de leche. The texture of the cakes is simultaneously heavy and fluffy (the box is heavy. It feels like a brick.) Incredibly rich, and well worth the price. Very good with coffee.
