Great for old dogs!
I was looking for something to help my elderly Wire Haired Fox Terrier. He has degenerative myelopathy and struggles on most surfaces to grip and it has been heartbreaking watching him fall and lose his balance so often. He also drags his rear paws and has worn the nails to the quick where they bleed. Rufus only weighs 8.5kgs and his paws are small. I measured according to the directions and went ahead and ordered the smallest size, 1.5in. Boots arrived and are exactly as pictured. I put them on Rufus's rear paws and cinched the velcro tight and he was fine from the get go. Rufus has grip and his hind legs are held firm on the ground, even inside on the polished wood floor. Really pleased so far and Rufus seems not to be bothered with them at all. Great purchase, well worth the money paid to see my little dog upright and not struggling to walk!

An absolute godsend!
My dogs have really small feet, technically should be a 1.25 instead of 1.5, but tried the 1.5 anyway. I just tightened them as needed. But OMG these do NOT fall off and my dog is a runner! They were so good I had to buy a second set for my other dog. I do appreciate that they only come is pairs because the front and rear paws are different sizes. Just in my case since 1.5 was the smallest size, then I just got all 1.5. On my other dog who's definitely a 1.25 but wearing 1.5, the shoes slipped off after a few hours, which is still a record. I've never a had dog shoes that were SO EASY to put on and stayed on for longer than 10 minutes! This is an absolute yes must buy wish I knew about these years ago!

Perfect in every way. You get what you pay for.
Out of the many doggie shoes I have tried, these are beyond compare. They are contored to fit a dog's foot. As a result, they stay on without making the velcro tab too tight. They allow the foot to flex normally which is important for a dog's gait. They fasten just above the bony part of the foot but below the dew claw. The vibram sole is sturdy but flexible. I live in Arizona where the streets are hot and the trails have nasty sticker-things - these have been awesome. Yes, they are more expensive but you get what you pay for. I was especially concerned about comfort and my dog doesn't seem to notice that he is wearing shoes. I highly recommend these without reservation.

Awesome shoes Vibram soles!
The media could not be loaded. These shoes make John Fox feel like 100 bucks! His feet aren’t sore anymore from playing on urban concrete surfaces.

Too bulky
They look very durable but they are also way to bulky for a little dog and don’t give any ankle or foot support, which is what I was looking for. They run large. I waited too long to return so now I’m stuck.
