This is my favorite for sandwiches! It is perfect to put your sandwich in the bottom and then have some other little snack type items in the top compartment. I will say there is no silicone or anything to keep those compartments from leaking so do not put anything wet in those top compartments. It's fine for some grapes maybe some popcorn or some chips or even a couple of candies or something like that but nothing that is going to be a little bit more wet or leak. For me that's not a big deal because I knew that when I bought it and I wanted it for having a sandwich on the bottom and then having a little bit of popcorn or grapes and some chips or something like that on the top in the split compartments.

I got this to pack my husband’s bento box. He works from home but doesn’t always get to eat his lunch on time. Corporate slavery. :/ I pack his lunch hot, place it in his igloo and it stays hot-warm until he can eat it. Usually within 2 hours.Works well for cold lunches too. The food stays chill when igloo is packed with an ice pack.The seal is great and actually leakproof. I take it whenever we go out to eat to pack our leftovers. No need to ask and wait for a to go box and we get to be more sustainable and non-toxic. Win-win. The bento box is roomy and the insert tray can be used with or removed for even more room.I docked a star because the hinges on the snap has rusted after just 1-2 weeks of use. The box itself seems to be of high quality stainless steel and the hinges is on the outside so it doesn’t touch food. I do love this box but the rusted snap component bothers me. I’m unsure if that’s how it is or if it’s a manufacture defect. I’ve sent a message to customer service and will update this review upon a response.

Not leak proof. Too many parts you could loose, and too complicated for a 7 year old to use. sent it back

I first saw these while visiting my son and daughter in law. She had these lunch boxes. I came home and ordered them as well. These are super durable being stainless steel. They are dishwasher safe, however I’m usually needing them for my next days lunch. If I have a load ready to wash in my dishwasher, then they get washed right along with. But they are so easy to wash by hand as well. The containers are easy to open even with my arthritis. I love the design of them. They work well to use for storing any leftovers as well. Great buy. I use these daily.

I’ve used this every weekday for almost a year, and I love it so much. It’s held up very well. Easy to clean and is in great shape. Seems like it’ll last!
