Best Batman Movie
Absolutely excellent over all.As a geek I'd have liked Batgirl to be the commissioners daughter but since she graduated from Harvard for cops I can see why some innovation was neededTotally quotable. Family fun for everyone.

I'm The Lego Batman Movie, I'm Awesome
This movie totally rocks!!!!! I pre-ordered for streaming so I got the email and that night the kiddies and I watched. We really loved this movie. Since that first viewing, I can actually say that I lost count about how many times I have seen it.I have heard people say that the first Lego Movie was better or that this one was better. In my opinion, the only thing that's the same is that they are Lego movies. The first one is great and was an introduction into what I hope will be many Lego movies but it is self contained. Batman was a character in the Lego Movie. The Batman Lego Movie is a batman movie in Lego form. I am a huge Batman fan and I loved, loved, loved everything about The Batman Lego Movie. My eleven year old even asked me who did this movie because she wanted them to make all of the DC movies because it was so good. Let me reiterate, this is NOT The Lego Movie 2. It is specifically The Batman Lego Movie. This is a movie all about Batman (i.e. his costumes, his gadgets, his alter ego, Robin, his many vehicles, all of his enemies, his moodiness, his arrogance, etc.)I said all of that just to say don't compare. Each movie is a great stand alone film. They both will have their fans and their critics. It's okay because every movie is not for everyone. So this review is for every BATMAN fan out there. This little animation is great. The movie has a great little story within and it deals with some internal things that we all struggle with but it s also filled with humor, great one liners, some surprises and little hidden gems that will make you watch the movie over and over again to see what you missed. You may even find yourself quoting lines in your everyday life referencing the movie (i.e. I'm Batman, I'm Awesome, I've Got a Nine Pack!)For those that haven't seen it yet or who are on the fence, give it a chance. It is for all ages. You might really enjoy it.

I've Watched This Movie 5 Times During The 36 Hour Rental!!
I thought this movie was fantastic!I rented, and now I will buy it. I've watched it more than 5 times during my rental period and can't seem to get enough of the "Let's Get Nut's" Batman song in the beginning of the movie. As for whether or not it's for kids, I'll leave these comments as this is coming from a 37 year old:I didn't think it was any more or less violent than Despicable Me or Monsters University. However, my young ones didn't understand many references made in the movie despite finding it enjoyable. Specifically, there are many references (hilarious ones or hilariously spun) that are either before many 10 year old's time, are from movies that were not for children, or are not part of US pop culture. For example, "You wanna get nuts?! Let's get nuts!" is from the 1989 Batman movie (I was 9 when that movie came out...and yes I watched it and didn't understand it until I watched it again as an adult). The Eye of Sauron is from Lord of the Rings, a PG-13 movie. Or the Daleks from Dr. Who (NIIIIIICE!!), which are awesome but part of British pop culture. ELIMINATE! ELIMINATE! ELIMINATE! ...yes, I am a closet Whovian.I'm sure the adults appreciate the homage to the 1960's Batman (rest in peace Adam West) as represented by Alfred's batsuit and the underlying theme song. Also the "Pow!" and other visual fight sounds were enjoyable. The humor was on point! I loved the sarcasm and indirectly making fun of...Batman."'Puter! Overcompensate!" "What is the password?" "Ironman sucks!"I'm not always into these types of movies, but I thought it was honestly brilliant. Brilliantly written and just a bowl of laughs!

unironically my favorite batman film
I've seen a lot of batman movies but this is unironically my favorite. Not only is the relationship between Batman and the Joker a nice twist on the usual overused dynamic but it's also genuinely funny. The story also highlights the importance of family (particularly Robin) to Bruce's character, and they aren't afraid to lean into the lightheartedness that makes robin (and particularly the young Dick Grayson robin) so popular. Honestly, my only problem with the film is that they set up Barbara Gordon as a love interest for Bruce instead of Dick which has creepy connotations, particularly since her character keeps getting deaged to be closer to Dick's age and farther from Bruce's, with so many versions of the Batgirl origin story having her start off as a young teen hero. But honestly, i kind of expected it since Bruce Timm has some sort of weird obsession with extreme age gaps and puts the Bruce/Barbara ship into just about everything he's even remotely involved in.

Quite literally the best movie in the history of cinema
Black.Like all great reviews, this one is typed in black letters.Or sometimes very, very dark grey. The credits say this movie stars someone named Will Arnett. Don’t know who that guy is but he sounds muy macho.Everyone knows the star of the film is Batman. You know … The Dark Knight. Gotham’s Greatest Resident. All around amazing person. Superman’s daddy. There is literally not one second of this movie that isn’t perfect. Even if there were some scenes that seemed lame or stupid they would have seemed lame or stupid on purpose, hence making them perfect as well.Boom. Science.Do yourself a favor. Buy this movie. Unless you prefer Mr. Wears Tight Undies Over His Pants. In that case, don’t. You wouldn’t be able to handle the awesome.‘Puter, submit.
