When using this product temporary stinging or burning may be noted when the solution is first used in an inflamed ear canal. Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation (too much burning) or pain occurs. If you experience an allergic reaction discontinue use immediately, and rinse the area with water. Flammable keep away from heat or flames.

But if it’s something that you feel is necessary due to some sort of discomfort you can. But I would imagine washing the medicine out of your ear probably isn’t something you’d want to do.
