Q: Can i use a pole instead of mounting & what kind of pole do i use? also will instructions come with how to use a pole?

Yes, you can use a pole. Instructions are very limited and won’t help with that and, unfortunately, I do not have the info either. That said, it’ll work fine with an alternate hanging mechanism, but think about getting the 8 and the piece that allows for better spinning.

Q: can the hammock stand be used rather than the ceiling?
