Montblanc Heritage Rouge & Noir Special Edition Brown Ballpoint Pen 116553

I was slightly worried initially buying from Amazon rather than directly from Montblanc.com due to fear of possibly getting a fake or copy, however it turned out to be genuine and new as described. Everything from the book (catalog) to item itself is exactly as it should be. The quality of the pen is solid and beautiful. I still would not say worth the retail price (then again, what is?), but the price this seller had listed was easily half off retail, and much more worth it.

Stunning Montblanc! Beautiful dark brown with a decorative top of red with the white snow cap. And the gold snake is really exotic looking with the red stone eyes. My husband immediately put down his Starwalker and has claimed it as his Indiana Jones pen. Add the brown ink and it is so unique but still so Montblanc. Writes beautifully as expected.

The garnet eyes in this particular version really sets it apart from the others that look similar. Really pleased with this pen.

I gave this pen as a gift to my Brother ,, really loved it.

Classic look, and unique

This was my birthday gift and I could not be happier. The pen reminds me of the adventures of Indiana Jones with its unique golden red eye snake wrapped around the top. It makes it appear mysterious and magical. It is beautiful, extremely well balanced and natural writing pen. It is also different from the usual traditional black Montblanc fountain pens that appear more of a pocket ornament or a symbol of achievement while seeing limited everyday use. This pen begs to start writing "Thank You" notes. Whoever gets this pen for whatever occasion, I guarantee that the recipient will remember it forever.
